Have to give 1 star cause giving 0/5 isn’t available. Food is okay. Service is HORRIBLE. Server was rude, wasn’t attentive. Anytime we tried to flag him down to get an order he kept saying “hold on” and continued to stand in the corner on his phone or just stand around. Took 15 minutes just to get water. We tried asking other staff for help but everyone kept telling us “hold on” and never came back to help. We just got up and walked out, it’s not worth it.

Just experienced this place for the first time! We got take out and it was amazing! We moved to Farmington a little over a year ago and we are so glad we found this place! Great prices, very friendly when we picked up our order, and food was perfect! We will definitely continue coming here and we can’t wait to dine in!

Difficult communication. Food not served as ordered, with no attempt to correct. When dining with a group, the food is mixed up. Will never go back. Too bad. I like to patronize local restaurants and small business.

The food is delicious and fresh!!!
Salsa has the perfect mix of spices and not just a bottle of tomato juice.
I have only had a few of the items off the menu but each one has been very delicious.
I drive a little out of my way to eat here.

Terrible service. I'm not sure if they even have staff as we never saw anyone. After waiting 10 minutes to get a menu we were fortunate enough to get up and leave. Not sure who gives out awards to places like these. I think the awards must have been paid for because this place needs shut down.

The Pollo Agaves is the best!

I had high hopes for this place because of all the awards it’s gotten lately, but after our visit, I honestly don’t get it.

We waited around 20 minutes before our server even came to the table. He didn’t seem very into being there, and although he made eye contact with me several times, he just kept walking off or sweeping. We had our menus stacked and were clearly ready to order, but it still took a while.

Once we finally ordered, it was another long wait for the food. He never came back to check on us—not once. No drink refills, no “how’s everything?”—nothing. The food had zero flavor. No seasoning, just bland.

At the end, we had to flag him down to get the check, and he didn’t ask if we needed anything else. We’re always polite and try to give people the benefit of the doubt, so maybe it was just a rough day—but the food didn’t make up for it either. Definitely disappointed and won’t be back.

Great Mexican food. Beans and rice which are usually bland were great. Shrimp cooked with onions and jalapeños was fabulous. Best Mexican food since we moved from DFW.

Their street tacos and enchiladas locas are really good. I also like their salsa and queso. Some of the best Mexican food around

I come here so often because the lunch prices are the best for miles! Today, I decided to order the steak papas locas valued at 12.99
When my food arrived, I noticed it was missing pico and guac & made a comment about how the order wasn't accurate. They proceeded to explain that it was the LUNCH papas locas & the lunch menu differed from the menu we received (we received the dinner menu by accident) I was confused, he was confused, but I didn't have a problem eating my meal as is. But what came next is what drove me to writing such a positive review. This man went ABOVE and beyond for me. He was exceptional. Kind, patient, very understanding, and thorough, he had this peace about him and I knew that what he wanted more than anything was to make sure I was satisfied, not disappointed or confused, and truthfully it's been a while since a server went above and beyond in such a calming way. I've always been satisfied with our visits to Blue Agave, but today was exceptional.

Thanks to the rude and disrespectful staff at this restaurant who doesn’t listen to their customers or try and accommodate for individuals. Came in and was told they would have a table ready in a few as everything was full. When the table came open we were told we would have to sit at was cleaned, we couldn’t sit there because it was a table with 6 chairs and we were a family of 4 (although a family of 4 came in behind us were seated there) In this time another table and two booths came open. Someone who accompanied us are not able to comfortably sit in the chairs due to health reasons, so we tried asking for a booth with the intent to have to a few more mins before they could clean. Instead of stopping to look at the customer or the booths, they just kept saying (while walking around us) they are all full although we just watched two of them become empty. We tried talking to 3 different people and no one even acknowledge what we were trying to say or ask. We politely got up and left because it’s much better to give your money to someone who actually has CUSTOMER SERVICE.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in NWA. My husband and I recently moved to Bentonville and find ourselves driving back just so we can eat here. I genuinely haven’t found anything that comes close- the food is so good, the margaritas are the best, and it’s all super affordable!! Highly recommend.
