Got take out, tried a few different items, everything was bland and tasted like the same ingredients just combined differently.

Food is bland. No adventure of flavor and certainly no standard of flavor. It tastes like micro waves stuff. Atmosphere is a nothing but most places have no atmosphere now because of COVID. I hope they go to other locations and blind taste test their food and others food so they can understand. Tons of competition for these places and I would say flavor is what's holding you back. Maybe new kitchen manager?

I want to start by saying that things were always good here until they weren’t. We ordered delivery from DoorDash, and one of the meals that we ordered was not in the bag. When we called to make them aware of this, they said that we were lying about it. Don’t waste your time or money at this restaurant! If they keep treating people like this, it wouldn’t shock me if they went out of business very soon.

Service is absolutely horrible. Tried it 3 times & each time staff is bad, rude, and slow. Will not be back as we gave them enough chances

Have to give 1 star cause giving 0/5 isn’t available. Food is okay. Service is HORRIBLE. Server was rude, wasn’t attentive. Anytime we tried to flag him down to get an order he kept saying “hold on” and continued to stand in the corner on his phone or just stand around. Took 15 minutes just to get water. We tried asking other staff for help but everyone kept telling us “hold on” and never came back to help. We just got up and walked out, it’s not worth it.

We had dinner 7/30 and had the first bad dish in the year plus we have eaten here. I ordered enchilada verde.The chicken in the enchilada was dry, un edible. I had to remove the chicken and eat the tortilla with the sauce and sour cream. You cannot exchange conversation with this Hispanic staff they do not speak English. We won’t be going back.

Just experienced this place for the first time! We got take out and it was amazing! We moved to Farmington a little over a year ago and we are so glad we found this place! Great prices, very friendly when we picked up our order, and food was perfect! We will definitely continue coming here and we can’t wait to dine in!

Difficult communication. Food not served as ordered, with no attempt to correct. When dining with a group, the food is mixed up. Will never go back. Too bad. I like to patronize local restaurants and small business.

The food is delicious and fresh!!!
Salsa has the perfect mix of spices and not just a bottle of tomato juice.
I have only had a few of the items off the menu but each one has been very delicious.
I drive a little out of my way to eat here.
Atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable.
Great place for a meal or a date.

Terrible service. I'm not sure if they even have staff as we never saw anyone. After waiting 10 minutes to get a menu we were fortunate enough to get up and leave. Not sure who gives out awards to places like these. I think the awards must have been paid for because this place needs shut down.

The Pollo Agaves is the best!

I had high hopes for this place because of all the awards it’s gotten lately, but after our visit, I honestly don’t get it.

We waited around 20 minutes before our server even came to the table. He didn’t seem very into being there, and although he made eye contact with me several times, he just kept walking off or sweeping. We had our menus stacked and were clearly ready to order, but it still took a while.

Once we finally ordered, it was another long wait for the food. He never came back to check on us—not once. No drink refills, no “how’s everything?”—nothing. The food had zero flavor. No seasoning, just bland.

At the end, we had to flag him down to get the check, and he didn’t ask if we needed anything else. We’re always polite and try to give people the benefit of the doubt, so maybe it was just a rough day—but the food didn’t make up for it either. Definitely disappointed and won’t be back.
