Reaching! They have a high end looking menu but the sandwiches are like fancy cafeteria food. The food is okay! The sandwiches are premade. The first time I ordered a steak sandwich and the meat was undercooked. The second time I ordered the Italian sandwich and the sandwich assembly was subpar. $9-$12 sandwiches, not including a canned drink or side. It’s alright

Love the location, atmosphere and nice selection of options for a local library. Prices are good per item, though they are pretty small (except for the sandwiches) so you may want to think if it more as tapas / small plates. Sweet potato tots are great, but the chicken tenders are a little pricy and dry. Salads very inventive.

Nice place for lunch and it is at the library. Nothing fancy, but the foods good and resonably priced. Always vegan choices.

It is one of our favorite places to grab a quick lunch. The food is delicious, the dining space is large plate glass walls overlooking the southern hills, and the atmosphere is filled with happy patrons and friends.

Nothing special on the menu and everything is pretty pricey expect for the curry chicken wrap that rivals other Indian restaurants in the area. For that menu item alone they get four stars from me, it’s delicious crisp and very flavorful!

I wanted to give this place a shot, but next time I will be going to little bread company. For $10 I expected the sandwiches to be fresh and made right there. I got the Italian grinder and it was just a grab n go sandwich with wilted lettuce, and semi soggy bread cuz it had been sitting there. It tasted like a sandwich I would make at home but worse. Their soup of the day was broccoli cheddar, it was okay but super watered down. I guess if you're already at the library and starving it's a good option, but I went out of my way to come here specifically to try the food and was disappointed. Probably won't be coming back ?

Honestly I’ve been wanting to try them for awhile. I was at the library the other day with my friends and we walked past them as we were leaving and stopped just for a split second to read their sign saying that they were closed for the day. The employees were in the doorframe of the little kitchen area and as we started walking out of the doors to the library we hear them loudly go to each other “hashtag sorry not sorry we’re closed” and made pretty rude jokes about the time and being closed. I was honestly in disbelief and felt very discouraged because I’ve been super intrigued by the cafe and what they do and honestly was just quickly glancing at the front of it because I’ve recently moved here and haven’t had a chance to. I’ve worked in plenty of restaurants and understand how annoying it is when people come in at the very last second and try to order things or come in while you’re closing but we weren’t. We didn’t even walk that close to the counter and one of my friends read the sign aloud and we were like “oh cool we’ll stop by another day”. We didn’t pester the employees or anything. It just really rubbed the three of us the wrong way because it simply felt mean. Like this is a public library and you’re loudly mocking people despite never even interacting with them? Can we not be slightly in front of the cafe to see the menu/setup at 2 something? Idk if there’s something I’m missing and I’m sorry if there is because I hate to be /that/ person but it felt so mean lol

A surprisingly great addition to the Fayetteville Public Library. The menu is simple and inexpensive. From a $1 cup of rice and beans (the Dewey Decimal Special) to soup, salads, sandwiches and more. Their soup special, which varies each week, is especially flavorful and I highly recommend the sweet potato tater tots! The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Bonus points for offering compostable serving items (bowls, spoons, etc).
