“I was greeted with a smile and genuine desire to answer any of my questions. There were only 2 spaces open in the 15min parking area and all the permanent parking was taken. For good reason! The inside of the shop was full, yet inviting. The head barista talked coffee with me and shared the “community over competition” focus that they have. That means they don’t serve local roaster coffees, opting to share out of town roasters with their client base and telling them to go drink local coffees at the local shops if they want local. They currently buy from roasters in North Carolina, Washington, and Kansas City. I couldn’t wait to try my half-sweet cardamom honey latte before snapping a pic. Hence the skewed latte art!
