“I was greeted with a smile and genuine desire to answer any of my questions. There were only 2 spaces open in the 15min parking area and all the permanent parking was taken. For good reason! The inside of the shop was full, yet inviting. The head barista talked coffee with me and shared the “community over competition” focus that they have. That means they don’t serve local roaster coffees, opting to share out of town roasters with their client base and telling them to go drink local coffees at the local shops if they want local. They currently buy from roasters in North Carolina, Washington, and Kansas City. I couldn’t wait to try my half-sweet cardamom honey latte before snapping a pic. Hence the skewed latte art! Go check them out!! It was outstanding.“

“Always my go to stop when I am in town! I take treats to our customers all across the state and Ricks’s is always my first pick when I am in town! I always have to grab extras to take back home since everyone loves them and we live 3 hours away! Darby was FANTASTIC today—she deserves a shout out!“
“I'm not a bread person but this place might change me. Today my boyfriend brought home a boule of sourdough from the Bentonville Farmers Market (garlic Parmesan). He had cut off the end and I picked it up and took a small bite even though I hate the butt ends of bread (I don't like crust). I have never ate butt ends before but I finished this one and cut off the other end and ate that too! It was perfect texture, perfect seasoning, baked perfectly. I'm sold. I look forward to him bringing home another flavor next week and who knows...I might steal the butt ends of the next loaf too!“
