Extremely friendly staff. I live 2.5 hours away and think about the food all the time. Had a great time talking to the staff about music. They even took some song requests as we were the only customers in the restaurant late at night.

We stopped in Fayetteville on our way to Texas just to visit Cafe Rue Orleans and Owner/Chef Maudie Schmitt. The authentic recipes and wonderful company brought back fond memories of New Orleans. Make a special effort to stop in for crab cakes, beignets, and more. You will leave happy!

We were up from the New Orleans area visiting our daughter for her birthday. Had dinner at the Cafe. Definitely spot on New Orleans flavors! Best meal we’ve had in a while, and would make a strong showing in the Crescent City itself. Will return next time in town!
