It's kind of a weird spot, but a good one.

First off, it's the best cajun food in Fayetteville - granted there's not a lot of competition. It's not like stepping into a Louisiana diner, but I've never had anything I didn't like. If you're craving gumbo or a po' boy in Fayetteville, this is the place you would go.

We've had some weirdness with service. One time we were turned away because they were too busy. We weren't asked to wait, rather we were told that we couldn't eat there; honestly it was more weird/funny than anything.

I think the quality/price/value/atmosphere balance could be adjusted but overall I would recommend it if you're in the area and like cajun food.

Amazing food and service. With the group 10, we try to variety of items for lunch and not a single disappointment. Seating is somewhat limited as it is a small establishment.

We had the most fabulous meal here! I'm from South Louisiana and this is Louisiana home cooking with real flair! That catfish tchoupaloe (I know I spelled it wrong!) is one of the best dishes I've ever had. A meal you dream about and want again. My husband got the seafood platter and absolutely loved it. We had enough leftovers for a whole other meal as well!
Give this place a try, you won't regret it! I gave it a 4 on atmosphere just because I prefer booths to tables but the food there really gave me a taste of home!

Second time to eat here, the food is delicious but tonight we called in an order and told the girl it was for dine in but when we got here we was told the kitchen is closed to which we replied, we called in an order for dine in to which the girl replied very rudely “when we are slow we close earlier” still 20 minutes until the close per posted on the website, we are here last week and was very impressed so we told everyone we new that they need to try it but we will be changing that with everyone, we live an hour away and was very excited to get to come back but will probably be my last visit, had to use the fender of my trailer for a table

We visited on a trip to Fayetteville and this was our favorite stop. Amazing food, service, and drinks! Definitely try the crab cakes, they are divine! We will definitely be back the next time we are in northwest Arkansas.

The food was delicious and the staff was quiet frankly some of the nicest I've experienced in the area. I was in later in the afternoon and ordered something that technically wasn't available at the time (a po'boy sandwhich) even though the station had already been cleaned and broke down, they got me squared away with exactly what I wanted. Everyone was so friendly even the gentleman that was in the kitchen came out a few times to let me know my order was almost ready.

Delicious Cajun Restaurant with a GF menu

Cafe Rue Orleans is a quaint restaurant on the second floor of a building. They have an entirely separate GF menu which had a range of options to choose from in all categories. It was nice to see 5 options for GF patrons for a main courses with 2 appetizer options. I had the Cajun Chicken with Jambalaya. The Jambalaya was delicious and perfectly spiced. The rice had a good texture as well.

The Cajun chicken is blackened with a buffalo-esque sauce on top. The sauce was spicy and really accentuated the chicken. I thought the spices to coat the chicken were really good too. It was packed with flavor while not being painfully spicy. I definitely want to come back to try the red beans and rice.

I would highly recommend this restaurant for Cajun food in the NWA area. I could tell they are the real deal.

I grew up in Southwest Louisiana, so I was a bit leery regarding the authenticity of the food here. So happy to report that it far exceeded my expectations. I had the shrimp poboy, and it ranked up there with some of the best I've had in New Orleans! Same for the gumbo & bisque. Highly recommend!

We just didn’t have a good experience. We were up for the football game and wanted to try it out. We had lunch but I saw other people with food that looked much better than ours. I may try again but just not sure. The food was a little dry and the beans were watery.

This is a really cool place! The food took a while but the wait was worth it because it was delicious.
Only real issue is the parking. It’s a tight lot and if they’re busy you’re likely to not get a spot.

The brunch is absolutely to die for. The food is so flavorful. it’s clean and cozy inside, and the staff was kind. You can’t go wrong with whatever you pick definitely stop by and try it out.
