Really cool chill place to sip on kava, beer, wine or sake. Vibe is relaxed and staff are very friendly. Really like their selection of kava products and highly recommend this place to anyone that likes kava or is curious to try it.

It weird, different, eclectic, and cool all at the same time. You need to experience it for yourself - pics and a review don't do it justice. The unique Kava drinks go right along with the theme and the selection of CBD products is solid. The hidden gem of this place is the way back room, aka "Club 509". They have some cool live entertainment from comedy to open mic to music. I was just there on Tuesday night to see Randall Shreve (he's there every Tuesday) and I was blown away! Such a talent! He won't be playing small venues for long so I would check it out soon.

Always good experiences, and one of the few places that's non-alcoholic while still giving you that kind of place to hang out with friends. Always friendly staff. Only complaint is how early they close, particularly on weekdays. Would be great if they were open until at least 9, preferably 10.

Super chill. Great place for my neurodivergent friends. my social anxiety is bad, and I always feel comfortable at the American shaman kava bar. Bartenders are very chill and kind and I love coming to see the comedy shows, funny up and coming comedians. Great way to end the night :)

The Kava bar is lovely. kava is an acquired taste so there's not much of a review their, although the golden kava latte is really good! for kava of course. But the overall energy of the bar is so calming and relaxing. very great environment. The workers are lovely as well! they greet you with a great attitude, they ask if you've had kava or not, and if you're new to it, they inform you pretty well of the effects and experience of kava.

I like to drink some kava and play mancala or check out the back room with ping pong, pool, and black lights. They have events happing all the time that are great for meeting new people and enjoying a welcoming atmosphere. I love that it is kid friendly and the ladies who run it are so knowledgeable about their products and they work firsthand to ensure the best customer experience. They have so many items to offer that will each appeal to different people depending on their personality and preference and the price point is amazing! I definitely recommend anyone to check out this hidden gem just off of Dickson St next to club c4 to experience what very well may be your next new favorite hangout spot.
