Chicken Salad Chick

Love this place! Most all the chicken salad is gluten free. How awesome! Very flavor and lots of options. A little pricey but I enjoyed my visit and everyone was super friendly. I’ll be back.

I’ve been here a few times. Always had a great experience with my food and service. But today…. I went in and order a BLT with no blt items on it…which in theory is dumb but I liked how they toast it and didn’t realize I could just do a normal sandwich. That’s not the issue, the issue is the insanely rude what I assume was a manager confronting me about this. I’m sitting waiting patiently for my food and this woman comes up to me with a look of anger and disgust on her face and says “You can’t order the BLT with no bacon” I told her I was sorry and didn’t realize and had done it a few times so that’s why I had done it. She continued to have this look of disgust on her face and the rudest demeanor while speaking to me. She basically made me feel as though they were accusing me of trying to scam them or genuinely doing something wrong. I told her this and she quickly said she didn’t mean to make me feel this way. But obviously this woman had no social ques or any idea of how rude she is. I’m a paying customer and if it was a misunderstanding, speak to me nicely. This woman has no business being in the serving industry with her lack of social awareness and rudeness. Lost my appetite this woman was so rude and accusatory towards me.

We have always enjoyed this establishment, although our most recent visit did not meet the usual standard. I contacted customer service to address the issues we experienced, and I later received a return call from the owner, Melissa.

I sincerely appreciate her professionalism in listening to my concerns, offering a genuine apology, and taking steps to make things right. I understand that mistakes can occur and certain details may occasionally be overlooked, but I felt it was important to bring the situation to their attention as a learning opportunity for the staff.

Melissa’s prompt response and offer to replace the meal were greatly appreciated and reflect a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

My UArk graduate chose to eat here “one last time”before leaving. She was happy to discover that there’s a Chicken Salad Chick in Winston-Salem, where she’ll be attending law school.

We are always very happy with the food, the atmosphere, and the price.

Lots of variety for a place that really does just 1 thing! Love all the different flavors and the broccoli salad side. Only negative, no gf options for bread or crackers.

What a novel restaurant idea! My personal fave was the lemon basil chicken salad. Also noteworthy was the greater ratio of female to male diners…definitely leaning toward us chicks!???‍♀️
