Ordered at 8pm to pick up at 10:15 since they close at 10:30 as said on their website AND Google. They called saying they close at 10pm and actually tried telling me they were going to put my food in their mailbox😐 thankfully they sat outside on the curb and waited but just thinking about doing that is unprofessional. So dont pick up at night

Honestly the worse quality hibachi and sushi I have ever had, and the prices were the higher or the same as a lot of better quality places. The sushi is so unbalanced, lots of rice and the seaweed was a dirty brown color. I couldn’t eat more than one bite. The rice and veggies tasted dirty and left a gitty feeling in my mouth. Would not recommend this place. Waste of money.

I ordered this for myself and a friend of mine late one Friday night. We ordered the steak, chicken and shrimp hibachi with fried rice, noodles, and veggies. I was relieved when they asked how we wanted the steak cooked. My friend has a 7 week old baby so we didn't want to go eat anywhere but wanted something good so I went and picked this up. It was really good! There were definitely not enough veggies in it (we are veggie girls) but the two of us splitting the one entree was MORE than enough food and we didn't come close to eating it all! The noodles were good, the steak and shrimp were good, the chicken had some sort of teriyaki sauce and it was good too! Didn't get any sushi, but would definitely consider it. The atmosphere was lacking for sure, I believe the location is in the old unemployment office on MLK and they didn't invest much in fixing the place up. I was surprised when I walked in on a Friday night there were no customers in the restaurant eating but there were several DD orders ready to be picked up. They are definitely fast! I didn't have to wait but a minute for my order and I could immediately tell it was a lot of food by the weight of the bag. It did spill out of the box into the bag, but that wasn't any big deal. We could have split it with even one more friend, that is how much we had left over, but all in all I'd try it again!

Please don't waste you're money. The quality is AWFUL, the mall has way better taste, quality, even atmosphere. Stay away if you want to stay happy.

Steak & shrimp taste so fresh.

My boyfriend and I ordered the Hibachi Steak & Chicken with fried rice and egg rolls. DO NOT GET STEAK FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE UPSET AND FEEL VIOLATED. I don’t know WHAT they did to it or what kind of meat that was, but it was grimy and gristly and like nasty sandy paste stuck to my mouth. I almost threw up. I thought, “Maybe it was just some crazy random mistake.” NO. It happened to my boyfriend right after. Also, WHO PUTS THAT MUCH PEPPER IN FRIED RICE?!?!?! Be warned.

The egg rolls were okay though.

I recently visited Chicot Hibachi Express and decided to try their sushi. I ordered the Monster Roll and the Yum Yum Roll for takeout. The restaurant's setup and atmosphere suggest that it’s primarily a to-go spot rather than a dine-in experience, which makes sense given its fast-service style.

The rolls were fresh, well-prepared, and visually appealing. However, when it comes to sushi, I personally look for bold flavors, and I found these a bit lacking in depth. While they weren’t bad, they didn’t stand out compared to other sushi spots in the area.

If you're looking for a quick sushi fix with decent quality, this place is worth a try. But if you're a sushi enthusiast who enjoys rich flavors and complexity, you might find it a bit underwhelming.

Unsure how a fried sushi roll ends up soggy, but definitely wouldn't recommend this place for the price.
For a few dollars more you can go down to Rock and roll and get significantly higher quality sushi and food in general.

I'm not sure if this restaurant was purchased or placed under new management, but either way--something changed. As an avid eater here I got my normal *monster roll* it was HALF the size as it usually is. For the price I was appalled because it's never been that tiny. We also ordered a steak+chicken hibachi--only received steak--didn't realize it til we got it home to eat it... called up there and was told I could come and pick up a side of "free chicken."
LOL. Its literally fraud from what it was the last time I ate there back in August.

Oh plus their "atmosphere" is bare and ALWAYS empty. I know this place gets it orders from door dash and pick up only because they refuse to spend any dollars to make the atmosphere even decent. Last time we went they didn't have a working fountain machin, either.

All of our order was delicious. The chicken, tempura shrimp, razorback roll yum sauce, eggrolls. So so good will diffinetly order again.

This place has the best food but they need to pay more attention to delivery orders. This is the second time part of order was missing. We did get reimbursed for the items but it's frustrating that we didn't get 1 person's meal
