Can't describe how far downhill this chain has gone!
Now it's just fast food BBQ style.
Sad.

The meat was really good. The beans were ok but the fries were horrible. They had so much salt on them they were inedible. They tasted like they had been salted 3 or 4 times. We had to just throw them away.

Dickey’s operates a Ghost Kitchen known as Big Bob’s Bakers. On DoorDash, it is not disclosed that this is Dickey’s. The address is listed, but an independent search of the address is needed to confirm the location is Dickey’s. (This can be performed by opening a link to Apple or Google maps, taking the user to another app).On the Big Bob’s Bakers website, you have to scroll to the bottom and click ‘Terms and Conditions’ to learn it is actually Dickeys.I am not comfortable eating again from any Dicky’s location due to the Ghost Kitchen. I am not comfortable having to search for the restaurant that is actually preparing my food. I am not comfortable with no mention of Dickey’s displayed on the DoorDash of their Ghost Kitchen. If Big Bobs Burger’s DoorDash profile showed that it was an affiliate of Dickey’s, I would be comfortable eating at Dickey’s again. It is that simple.

Oh Dickeys...I had such high hopes for this location, but unfortunately, it failed multiple times. Let me start by saying my family and I are big fans of Dickey's BBQ in Missouri, Louisiana, and Florida. But this Fayetteville location is a disaster, to be honest. It is so poorly run I am shocked it is still in business. The location is tiny and mainly caters to togo business. They removed the signature "free" ice cream machine about a year ago and only have a few rows of tables and chairs along with a fountain drink area, one TV, and an ordering counter inside. The drive thru is a mess, and the menu screen is mostly crossed off, so I am assuming it is just used for pickup now. Mobile app ordering does not work here as I have placed orders here through the Dickey's app and paid and showed up to the staff having to reciept of the orders at all. Every single time I have shown up, they are out of stock on multiple meats and sides . Sometimes, they don't even tell you, like when I ordered a loaded bbq stuffed potato a couple of months ago. Instead of telling me they had no baked potatoes, he just made me a plate of mashed potato casserole and topped it with bbq and cheese, assuming I could not tell but charging me the same? When I asked about it, he said he thought it was better that way and gave me a brownie. Yesterday, I took my kids for Sunday lunch, and kids eat free. The two employees both told me they were new (one of them it was her first day), and they were ALONE to run the restaurant. They were friendly and obviously trying their best but not prepared or properly trained. They had never rang up an app reward or kids eat free, they did not get our order right, took a very long time to plate and prepare one order, and many items were missing bread, toppings, and sauce, or had the wrong toppings altogether and lots of fat and gristle. The fact that management would let brand new employees run a restaurant on a weekend says a lot. I have given this place a handful of tries b/c the barbecue and sauce are really good (when they are right), but after having problems on every single visit, I am done. Also, corporate has changed the menu, removed some favorites (like creamed spinach), and upped the prices (kids' meals are now 9.99!). Sorry Dickey's, goodbye.

Food used to be good. No taste. I had a brisket sandwich and ribs and burnt crispy fries. Sorry didn't take pictures. I dine in and wanted to get out of there fast bc the service was bad.Just wondering how long they have been out of soda from the fountain drink? Bc u pay for a combo meal and u get a can soda.

The food was absolutely disgusting and the service was even worse! Don’t waste your money here

EDIT: What's the point in having your "social team" respond to every single poor review, but not email customers back. Just some attempt to make you look good without actually doing anything? I doubt i'm the only oneHonestly incredibly sketchy. There is no "open" sign, the windows are super tinted, and the lights are dim. Place doesn't look open when it is. I came by 2 hours before close, thought the place was closed. Walked in, all the TV's with the menus were turned off, the only menu was taped beside the register, looked printed off of Word, and the prices seemed way too high. The girl running the front was outside talking to her boyfriend or something, came in after I came in wondering what was going on. Immediately started listing off that they were out of this and that. Really bad vibes, I left before I could get scammed. How are you out of brisket and baked beans 2 hours before you close? Menus should be easy to find, and employees should at least greet you when you walk in...

Really not sure how this place is still open. The phone number has not worked for months. They are out of most food every time I go there and have been for months.... to the point that their drive through menu has most items marked off (as if they're not getting them back ever). I'm not sure what's going on with this location... we used to eat there at least a couple of times a month but I've pretty much given up on them.

It's so sad to me that this place has just gone downhill so bad. They pretty much have no menu anymore, no meat, lazy or worn out employees, and other issues. Dickeys BBQ has always been our favorite BBQ place and we used to go here regularly and now it's just a disappointment ?. I hope they get back up and going good again bc we really don't want to see it go away! We were going to have them cater our wedding but looks like we will have to find a different alternative

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Do not go here. I attempted to go through the drive through. Ordered an item off the menu and was told a price that seemed a little high. Handed the very sweet girl my card. But did the math in my head while they were supposedly preparing my food. I asked the girl about it when she came back and was told they are raising their prices but haven’t changed the signs. I told her they can’t really charge people more when it isn’t on their sign and all she could do was say that she told me the total for my order before taking my card. When I asked for the price on the sign I was told she couldn’t change it. I asked for a manager and was told that person went to the store. I asked if they could call them and another boy came to the window. He was very nice but they just kept repeating the same things. The girl brought a phone back with a man I later found out was the GM. He was rude, not helpful, and kept accusing me of not listening for a solution. I asked to just cancel my order and the money be refunded but was told no one there could do that and no one could until tomorrow. I asked if I could get something written out stating it would be refunded as proof for tomorrow. He again kept getting angry and accusing me of not listening to a solution. The boy at the window actually mouthed over his GM on the phone that he would do that and make sure I got my refund. The GM, Marcus, also kept insisting the shift leader was in the store and it was the blonde girl who’s phone I was talking to him on, and she was literally shaking her head saying she was not the shift lead. When I told him this, he again told me I was just trying to cause problems and not listen for a solution. Do Not Go Here!!! The kids at the window were very nice. MANAGEMENT is terrible!!!!Also, I was not provided the itemized receipt until after all of this occurred, and I asked them to write out that it was supposed to be refunded so that I had some type of proof. Posting pictures of the receipt I received, and the receipt I received after I ask for my order to be canceled.

3rd time is a charm! I am a HUGE fan of this chain restaraunt... its unfortunate because this location off Wedington Drive in Fayetteville, AR is beyond horrible. Ive had delivery a few times horrible food quality old rubbery dry meat and soggy cold fries and okra less than 3 minutes delivery time. Today was the last time I will EVER order here again. The lady working told my delicery driver on speaker while I was listening that I was a liar and she cussed. Horrible professionalism and service. She had the doors closed to drive thru only and i could here her cussing the 2nd delivery driver as well. I asked for a DM or GM for this location and she said..... "We dont have one and you can F off!" CLASSY! FRIENDLY! Give that sweet worker a raise.... sigh! Done with this place. Plus, they NEVER have okra or anything on their menu... CT
