We arrived at 8:00 am for breakfast (October 8th). There was one couple eating breakfast. We saw no host, waited about 5 mins, and then found another hotel employee that found the hostess/waitress for us. We were finally seated. Took abut 5 min for our coffee. And then the music was turned on a blasting level. so that we couldn't even hear one another. We found another hotel employee that turned down the volume for us. Waited at least 15 mins without the waitress asking us for our meal selections. We again had to find her and let her know were were on a schedule (mind you it should have been pretty obvious this was a business meeting). Her response was "You should have told me sooner". I should have responded we would have if we could have found you! This type of snotty employee shouldn't work in the hospitality business. My eggs, over easy, were delivered hard fried. Poor service and poor food to start the day. The Inn itself is beautifully renovated from the previously abandoned Carnall Hall dormitory.

Great brunch spot in a nice venue. The Hog Wild omelette was delicious and felt very healthy. The fried chicken Benedict were also a highlight, with every element done to perfection. Overall a great spot in a nice location, perfect to see campus after to walk irnoff

The service was incredibly slow. It took them almost an hour to serve my food even though there were only a few customers. The staffs were very unapproachable and indifferent. Wouldn’t recommend this place unless you enjoy waiting an eternity for mediocre food and abysmal service.

I brought my husband to Ella's table to celebrate his birthday. It was fantastic! At first we were alone in the dining room for most of our meal and it wasn't lost on us that chef was cooking especially for us at that point. We agreed. Those filet mignon were the best steaks we have ever eaten.

Tyler our waiter was Great! He was friendly, prompt and helpful! Came often to fill our coffee cups, very important to us! Food came out in timely manner. And had Eggs prepared perfectly!

Ella’s Table is the perfect dining experience. The mood set for our evening meal @ Ella’s was romantic, classic and tasteful thanks to our waitstaff. Cristian and Bryan were very attentive and attended to our every need. The Chicken Piccata was amazing! Thank you to all the staff for a delightful and memorable dining experience.

All meals we had here over the course of 3 days were wonderful! Freshly prepared with lots of local ingredients. Cristian & Dorothy did an outstanding job for our group's dinner! Table was gorgeous when we entered the room as well. Ella's is a rare find!
I ordered the southern bread and spreads. I had to ask for an explanation of what the jams and spreads were, and the explanation was incorrect. All of the bread provided, was good, but also sweet so the savory toppings were not really appropriate for them and made for weird flavors.

The atmosphere is one of a kind. The history of the building is something to see in itself. The food was and service was spectacular. We will definitely go again, and try the additional menus.
