This was our first time visiting and because we showed up late morning there was a limited selection, so in the future be prepared to show up early just in case! We are vegetarian and all 3 options we tried (the Mediterranean, the spicy Gouda, and the Rojas con queso) were amazing. It’s hard to pick a favorite but I might have to say the Rojas con queso was mine, it was savory and the poblano pepper added a wonderful amount of spice. All 3 buns were perfect, very soft. We will definitely be coming here again!

I am a foodie and this place blew me away! The owner was so friendly and described the flavor profiles of the kolaches to us as we ordered. I got the spicy Gouda, rajas con queso, and the Mediterranean. I loved them all. The bun is perfection and the fillings are so savoy and comforting. The spicy Gouda was my favorite. I will definitely be back!!! Can’t wait to try other flavors.

OMG, y'all! Golden Kolaches makes THE BEST kolaches! They're better than the ones I've had in Chicago. It's a base of yeasty, soft, puffy yet chewy dough filled with fruit preserves & cheese (peach, blueberry, & blueberry in the photo). I also bought a Lemon Zest pastry that was a lemony cream tucked inside a pastry. I ate the whole thing. My plan was to eat half of each today & the rest tomorrow, but I legit don't know if I'll be able to hold myself to that. I'm in love!

The Lemon Zest pastry is $2.65, while each fruit Kolache is $2.75 - very inexpensive & worth even more.

The danger is that it's so close to my hotel. Thankfully, they're closed Sunday & Monday.

The best breakfast snacks in NWA! The eggniters, kolaches and scrambles never ever disappoint. The ladies behind the counter are always super helpful and friendly. Get there early because when their mouth watering pastries are gone, they're gone. My literal only complaint is that they're not open on Sundays. But still a must grab when you're in Fayetteville.

We have followed this business from their original location in Johnson. We visit so often that we do not use the menu anymore.
Food is always good. Service is always wonderful.
At times it's so crowded in the little shop you can hardly breathe. It's worth it!
Sausage gravy is a staple.
We also enjoy the blueberry kolache, lemon kolache, egg scramble, and spinach artichoke on the regular.
