Authentic food that easily compares to, and matches the quality of, some of the best home-cooked meals I've had in either Essen or Duesseldorf, Germany.
Rich in flavor but not overworked. The raw jalapeño I ordered actually had decent heat. I've tried the hamburger steak with the amazingly mysterious garlic sauce and also the Philly cheese steak sandwich.
Pretty much anything on the menu is going to transport you back in time. Highly recommended!

We ordered two filet and ribeye and ribs and shrimp. Both filets and ribeye were ordered medium, all came out black on outside with a charred crust. Inside was a dark gray . No way were these even close to medium. They were obviously well done or beyond but waitress said the owner saw them and sent them out as medium and she wasn’t going to,so,anything about them. So we left all steaks in tact and uneaten and walked out and won’t be back .

Great local atmosphere for sports fans and visitors to Fayetteville for a pre or post game gathering. Our Family enjoyed the variety of menu options as much as the Arkansas Sports memorabilia. Service was great, ribs were delicious and tender, steaks were perfectly served. The salad was crispy fresh and I thoroughly enjoyed the homemade dressing. Looking forward to our next visit. Hopefully with a Volunteer victory so the drive home is not so long…. I Loved Herman’s Ribhouse, and Fayetteville is awesome. Thanks for the hospitality.

The 10oz filets were just as bad. The sauce that they dump on them is so overpowering of Asian flair that I couldn't finish it.
