I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place and plenty good to say. My first thought after taking a bite of their burger was “this has the taste of a steak”. Perfectly cooked patty with a size to fill anyone up. Can’t beat the underground speakeasy vibe and they have excellent service. So happy to enjoy this spot now that I moved to this city.
We love Hugo’s but don’t get to eat there often enough as everybody loves this place. We go around 5 so we can get a table and not have to wait. I recommend the trout, which is cooked perfectly and served with tartar sauce with dill. So good!!
My wife and I visited Hugo’s for the first time last week and we were blown away! The atmosphere gave off a New Orleans vibe which was really fun. The service was great and the waiters gave great suggestions on what to get. I got the Jalapeño Burger while my wife got Derek’s Special which was a grilled chicken sandwich. Both Entrees were incredible but I think that if you want something unique to Hugo’s, their sandwiches are the way to go.
