My husband's Christmas party with his place of employment at Assemblage was there. We had the best time ever here. All his co-workers and boss Christian Batteau and Heidi Batteau are fabulous people. My husband Neal Sliger has a great group of people to work with.

Ive only been in the cafe twice to sit down and have food in about three years, and let me tell you very few places do I have constantly in the back of my mind thinking about their food and this place takes number one in my mind, their burgers are what i would think of if anyone says traditional American burgers, they were so good along side with the fried mushrooms. The chicken tenders where also one the best ive had in a long time and that is include my home made ones

Attentive service and great diner food. Prices are reasonable - portions are typical. Don't look for any avocados or kale here - if you want solid American fare, you've found the place!

Stopped in here with my wife before bowling with her coworkers on Halloween, the only other person in the cafe was one man at the counter. Upon entering, the man told us we could sit wherever but advised us not to sit in the bigger section because it smelled of sewer and he was correct - so we sat along the front windows.Because we sat out of view, the person taking orders didn't see us until we got up to just try ordering at the counter and she immediately came over to us, she was very friendly and apologized for not seeing us which was honestly not a problem. Our drinks and food took almost no time at all to get to us and were absolutely delicious to consume.
I always get the club sandwich and I'm never disappointed!

It's always fun asking the bowling staff about the café items and vice versa, because they are owned by different people and you can tell they kinda hate each other lol

They serve deep fried okra and pickles and burgers. Bar food at the bowling alley. It's not healthy nor means to be. Good ol fashion American food.Kid-friendliness: They have an automatic bumpers system that pop up when needed and retract when not.

Saw reviews and wanted to try this place. Went in on a Friday night. Waitress didn't mention all items on the menu were not available, just snack bar items like hot dogs and pizza slices. She said they weren't expecting customers so they didn't prepare to serve dinners, burgers, breakfasts, etc. that day. I didn't stop for frozen pizza and chips. Should have posted notice on the door or told potential customers as they entered. Best advice: Call ahead to see if they are expecting customers or go to Waffle House. The WH team took good care of me.Parking: Paved parking but part of it in rough shape. Might be tight on a busier night at the bowling lanes.
