The food, service, and atmosphere were the best we had hoped for. There is so much variety, that one cannot fail to find a meal to enjoy. We were so surprised when the bill came because they had automatically given us a senior discount (we are both in our late 70s), and the meal ended up not only being delicious, but affordable. We were there on a Friday night, so there was a lot of seafood in addition to the regular offerings, and it was a delightful experience.

Food was not terrible. My friend and I went today and we paid separately. We both paid with card and I left a tip with my card. The waitress pointed at my friend's receipt and asked if he was going to leave a tip and he said he was leaving cash for a tip so she said ok and stood there to wait for her tip. He said he will get it when he's ready. She walked away and stood a couple tables away watching us talk some more (this is AFTER we paid). We stood up to leave and she got in front of him and said he needs to leave a tip... we normally always tip and I did on my card a 20% tip but he decided he wasn't going to because of her behavior. Her body language and tone was pretty hostile. She acted like we were stealing. That's just crazy. Seems like many other have had similar experiences.

We love a Chinese food buffet, but the waitress was pushy about the bill. They literally stand over us waiting to pay and asked over two times for the money. We were no where near done eating. Once we gave the bill the lady asked for a tip not even allowing us to give it to her she asked for one.

Many of these reviews are very true. One of the reviewers claimed that they begged for tips, which is true. The service is also at times terrible with some of the servers being irresponsible for your personal space. The food is hit or miss. Like the mozzarella sticks can be cooked to perfection or be like stone, randomly I too got food poisoning TWICE thinking I over ate but I would decline. I forgot to add this but the food is also really really greasy, with some food from another serving getting into another one but that is because of the customers.(They’re mainly White and Hispanic). But yeah this is my experience.

My family and I went here to eat dinner . Most of the meat was too tough to eat , the fruit was too dried and if you order a all you can eat buffet and if you want to take leftovers home they charge you extra for a two go box .
We went for lunch to get away from all the damage from the tornado and it was all going well until our server was making us tip her and kept pointing it out to us to pay her tip with the receipt. We'd been here a few times and never had to deal with this so it was very awkward. Wasn't happy about being forced to tip.

Even for an all you can eat buffet the food was subpar. Most of the items were actively gross. The expectation of an all you can eat buffet is that the food isn’t very good quality, however a lot of the food was borderline inedible. The restaurant itself was clean and pest free at least.
Vegetarian options: As with most buffets most the options contain meat. The best thing there are the cream cheese wontons. Not worth paying dinner pricing just to show up and eat those however.

I have been a regular at this restaurant for years, but recently I have been encountering a waitress who seems overly focused on receiving a good tip. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed this behavior. During my most recent visit, she was particularly rude to me and my friends. It all started when we overheard her asking another table if they were going to leave a tip. The woman at that table was clearly upset and left without leaving a tip. After that, the waitress seemed to take her frustration out on us. Despite normally tipping between $10-20, I only tipped $1 this time, which upset her. This behavior has been consistent throughout the entire year that I have known her. It is concerning to me that the restaurant owners either haven't noticed or haven't taken any action. I have even had family and friends mention her behavior when discussing where to go for a buffet, and we have chosen not to go to Pavilions because of her. If she were my employee, I would have to let her go.

Food is constantly turning into fresh hot items, staff is friendly and warm .Some one is Always Cleaning....around the food, tables and floors. I enjoy the Variety of selections of food, and LOVE THIER Hot&Sour soup !!!! Thanx Pavilion Buffet!!! Always greeting my large family at Christmas,4th of July, Birthdays...and even just my husband and myself!!!!???
