Went to Petra Cafe for the first time. The salad that they gave me had been brought back by another customer because it wasn't what she had ordered. Yes, she had left with it and returned it, right in front of me. The worker recognized that it was what I had ordered, so instead of making mine fresh, he took her return and attempted to give it to me. If I'm not mistaking, this is an illegal practice.

This is some of the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had in NW Arkansas. There are actually not many choices of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food in this area, so I was happy that the food is actually really good. I loved this little cafe and it’s very relaxed and cozy.
I ordered the Petra Platter so that I could try multiple items and it was ALL fabulous!! My husband ordered a platter with lamb and he was very impressed as well. The Turkish coffee was definitely a treat. Unfortunately, I couldn’t try the baklava because it does have dairy and I have severe Alpha Gal, but it made my husband’s day and he said it was one of the best he’s had. The staff was very helpful and kind. They knew ingredients of all items and that is very important for my survival, so I really appreciated that.

This place is so cute! Really small, very friendly staff and the food was delicious. They keep kind of strange hours, but definitely worth a trip. I wanted everything on the menu.

Hole in the wall Greek place. I liked that the sandwich size was small enough that I could finish it. But at $8.99, the gyro sandwich with a few slices of store-bought gyro meat and no sides was on the pricier side of average. Typically, I pay $10.99-12.99 for twice the size and three times the meat along with a mound of fries and I always have enough leftover for a second meal. On the plus side, the vegetables were fresh and so was the pita bread. Small space with a couple of high tops, a couple of tables and bar seating. Service was efficient.

Small servings that are pricey, the online menu is not the right pricing. The food wasn't very good, dry and not really flavorful. It doesn't taste like it was made there.

Edit: I got sick after eating the food, I don't think it was fresh :(

Food is fantastic and deserves 5 Stars. The waitress was rude and very unhappy. She really needs to find a job where she can find some inner peace. Small, tight eating area but if your not claustrophobic the food is worth being elbow to elbow with a stranger.

The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in someone's kitchen in both positive and negative ways but the food was amazing. I'll be back for sure next time I visit the area.

Used to love this place but the servers were rude and distractes, one od them cussing and comllainkng when we enteres. It's a tigjt space but she kept bimping my chair. I moved my jacket so she wouldnt knock it off, but she still kept bumping me so i ate standing up. The hummus was flavorless. The falafel was dry and very small and didnt have any taste. When we asked why the falafel wasnt good, we were told it's because it's prepped in the morning and then microwaved. They were dry and powdery, not crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The tahini sauce was thin like water and just made the dry falafel more like soggy wheat. The atmosphere has always been sterile but now it's like the cheapest style dishes and cups like you'd find in a hospital cafeteria. Sad to see how much this place has gone downhill. I couldn't even give it 2 stars and I hate giving it only 1 star but there wasn't anything redeaming about our experience. I wish the server or cash register attendant had offered to make it right, then at lease we could say we had good service.
