It was my first time trying Mediterranean food, and I loved it! The place is small but cozy. I visited on a Saturday morning while the farmers market was going on, and surprisingly, we managed to grab one of the two tables available. There’s also a bar table if the others are full. The staff was amazing. One of the ladies spoke Spanish, which was super helpful in explaining the menu. (I’m attaching some pictures of the food—it was delicious!) Now, let’s talk parking. You can try parallel parking on the street (good luck!) or use the paid parking area behind the building. Since this was on a Saturday, downtown Fayetteville was extra busy, but usually people park downtown if spots are available.

Went to Petra Cafe for the first time. The salad that they gave me had been brought back by another customer because it wasn't what she had ordered. Yes, she had left with it and returned it, right in front of me. The worker recognized that it was what I had ordered, so instead of making mine fresh, he took her return and attempted to give it to me. If I'm not mistaking, this is an illegal practice.
This is some of the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had in NW Arkansas. There are actually not many choices of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food in this area, so I was happy that the food is actually really good. I loved this little cafe and it’s very relaxed and cozy. I ordered the Petra Platter so that I could try multiple items and it was ALL fabulous!! My husband ordered a platter with lamb and he was very impressed as well. The Turkish coffee was definitely a treat. Unfortunately, I couldn’t try the baklava because it does have dairy and I have severe Alpha Gal, but it made my husband’s day and he said it was one of the best he’s had. The staff was very helpful and kind. They knew ingredients of all items and that is very important for my survival, so I really appreciated that.

Authentic Local Mediterrenaen food. We love going in this place. The food is excellent and the crew are super nice. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an authentic Mediterranean food. My favorite place and after noon sometimes there is a line outside. Also, check the hours because they are only open certain days and time.
