I really wanted to love this place and make it a regular spot but the fact they serve hot food, especially soup, in plastic means I won’t go back. Super clean and cute though. If they changed it, my husband and I would probably go at least once a week.

recently visited Rice Forest in Fayetteville and was genuinely impressed! The restaurant is small but beautifully designed — clean, cozy, and welcoming. The food came out quickly, and everything I tried was fresh and full of flavor. You can really tell they care about quality and presentation.

It’s one of those hidden gems where you immediately feel comfortable, and the food truly speaks for itself. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Asian dishes and great service in Fayetteville!

We drove all the way from Springfield to try Rice Forrest and honestly it was really disappointing. The chicken was served cold, lacking flavor, and oddly fatty. The rice was fine I guess, but overall the dish just did not come together. My fiancé had the chicken katsu and it was the same, lacking flavor with a weird texture. The dumpling sauce for the Sichuan dumplings was also very sour and overpowering. I am from Singapore so I have had authentic chicken rice before, and while I was not expecting it to be exactly the same, I thought it would be a lot better than it was. It looked great in the pictures but definitely did not live up in person. Maybe it was a one off bad day, but I will be thinking twice before driving over two hours again just to try a place like this.

I didn't even know this excellent little restaurant was here, until I was searching for a great place to take my fiancee for Asian style Sunday dinner. The good reviews were very spot on and we were both amazed at the excellent blending of the spices and preparation of her chicken stir fried noodles and my beef stir fry version. Even the beef had its own deliciously distinct and fabulous flavor. Our dishes arrived with steam still rolling and filling the air with their wonderful aroma. There was no desire nor need to add any table salt, pepper, soy sauce, or complimentary table seasoning at all to this authentic and amazing food at this great place. My compliments to the chef, kitchen staff, the owner, and the rest of their professional team.
The staff was very friendly, polite, and pleasant. The owner was present and very friendly as to greet and thank us and others.
Very clean, timely, pleasant, and now on the top of our list of places to dine.
As with so many such restaurants, the food was perfectly balanced with its seasonings, prepared excellently, pleasantly filling, and there was no feeling of being poisoned or having a chemical after taste in my mouth. Just great, clean, pleasant, and adequately priced food and dining. I 💯% recommend Rice Forest!

I ordered the Chicken & Shrimp Noodle Ramen accompanied by Chicken Dumplings, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The chicken tasted like leftover rotisserie meat, lacking freshness and depth of flavor, while the broth itself was oddly seasoned and uninspired. The shrimp and egg added little to the dish, both entirely devoid of taste. For a $30 meal, I expected something far more satisfying. And the restaurant had cups but no straws. Most people are not drinking straight from the cup for sanitary purposes. And you have to ask them for napkins. This is just basic service. I wanted to try something new, but this simply wasn’t it.

🤩Absolute favorite restaurant in NWA!! Staff is super friendly, prices are decent for how huge the portions are, and even though it’s small, the dining area is super cute and cozy. Anything I’ve tried from the menu has been nothing short of fantastic (chicken katsu, edamame, crab rangoon, chicken nuggets, BBQ pork). Oh, and make sure you get a side of their teriyaki sauce - it’s magical✨
