The best bakery ever. I will have them do my wedding, they are superb. Chocolate is rich, white is not too sweet and the carrot cake is perfection, not very sweet but with a lovely cream cheese icing that brings it to life. The petit fors are a must have.

Came in on 02/19 at 545 pm. I understand y’all close at 6 but the way I was treated was ridiculous. When we asked about the brownies we were told that would be a pain to rewrap so don’t order those. Hope to hear back.

I’m beyond disappointed. I ordered a cake for my mother’s 70th birthday over the phone. I made it clear that this was a milestone birthday and I wanted it to be a special cake that would feed 3-4 people. The person who helped me was unenthusiastic and didn’t seem interested in doing a custom cake so I just asked for lavender decoration and said I would use a topper. Today I was given an italian cream cake (the flavor I requested so thats fine). It’s completely undecorated, the frosting isn’t even smooth on top, and I’m like 99% sure this wasn’t made to order because it’s not even in a box… it’s so basic that I was almost charged twice for it when trying to get candles. Also it’s really big. This could easily feed 7-8 people.I’m sure it’ll taste great, Rick’s always delivers on that level, but I’m disappointed by the service and I honestly probably won’t be coming back.

they do an amazing job on their cakes, we have decided after buying our granddaughter her 2nd birthday cake here. (she wanted bluey cake and ricks is the only place we could find to make one) that our traditiona with our grandkids birthday is poppy and nonny will get there cakes at ricks! beyond delicious too! highly recommend!
I'm not convinced a single thing here is made from scratch. I used to work in a bakery so I can spot the premade order-by-the-five-gallon icings and fillings from a mile away. I decided to give Rick's one last try today and got some cookies. Basic cookies. They were stale and lacking in flavor and quality.Service and atmosphere is good though.

I called to make a cake order for January 10th. I asked a strawberry cake and specifically asked if it had slices of fresh strawberries in it. The person who works there said yes and was charged extra for it which I gladly paid since I really wanted fresh strawberries. I picked the cake up around 3:30-4pm and went home then when it was time to cut it, there was no fresh strawberries in the cake . It was a pink strawberry flavor cake like those box cakes from the store, but worse. It was dry and had no flavor . The unicorn design was nice but the cake was not good at all. Waste of money.

Delicious king cake!!! The Bavarian Cream was perfect, not too sweet, fresh, moist and nicely decorated! The girls at the counter friendly and helpful. I ordered online and was ready when requested. I will be back.

Lots of great Hog items! Impeccable customer service as well. Many different treats to choose from and I especially love the delivery service to my kiddo during exam time! His favorite is the sausage roll!

posted earlier regarding two bad experiences on selling of old pastries. Still stand by this claim. However, went back this week to see if this was an anomaly. This time a much different experience. The Apple Fritter was good. Obviously baked fresh that morning. The yound lady assured me all their baked good are baked fresh daily. Someone must have slipped some day old fritters last week. Ambience is good. Be nice if the customer would take a couple minutes to clean up behind themselves. Only takes a min or less to brush off the crumbs where you sat. Keeps the place looking better than you left it.
