I just moved to Arkansas, and went alone last night to celebrate the Chief's win but had to use the restroom before grabbing myself a drink. Someone was BEATING up against the door while I was going and it honestly scared me. When I opened the door a man was standing outside of the door clearly ready to slam into it again, so when I walked up to the bar to order a drink I felt the need to let the bartender know that a MAN was BEATING ON THE WOMENS RESTROOM DOOR. He told me it was THE OWNER OF SIDEWAYS, and then told the owner what I'd said. The owner felt the need NOT to apologize, but to come up to me and tell me that because he was the owner it was totally acceptable to do that because his wife/co-owner needed to use the restroom. His wife then came up to me to explain that she was also the owner and that she had needed to use the restroom. The woman was more polite but the man was clearly trying to intimidate/scare me. I was so scared and uncomfortable I asked for the tab and immediately left. Easily the WORST bar experience I'd ever had.

Sideways might be the best bar in Fayetteville. They have amazing service and atmosphere, much more chill than most of Dickson Street. They have an excellent liquor selection and very fun and helpful bartenders. The pool tables and shuffleboard make this an excellent spot. Definitely visit Sideways if you want a more adult Fayetteville experience.

Bartender was in a pool game and decided not to serve us. Looks like a shit hole anyways. Hard pass.

So 2 things...1. If you have a private party don't let your 3 year old write the sign you hang on the door.2. Whoever gave that Karen permission to put her hands on me and tell me private party, needs to be fired

Great selection of draft beers, more than many bars on Dickson. I love that they have a couple free pool tables, cheap shuffleboard, and TVs to keep you entertained. They also have a pint night and drink specials throughout the week. If you haven’t already found this literal hole in the wall bar then find it and check it out next time you’re on Dickson Street!

Great staff, nice music selection. Tap selection is best in town.

One of the best places on Dickson as far as beer selection and chill atmosphere goes. This is one of the only places in northwest Arkansas with a shuffleboard table which is my family's past time! My dad and I can always count on Sideways to have our father-daughter shuffleboard date nights and the crew working the bar is always pleasant to chat with in between games.

Possibly the best bar ever. Great selection, knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere. If you don't know what you want just ask, they'll help you out. The other patrons almost always have great conversation as well.

Service needs to be improved. There is no excuse for the performance of the bartenders based off of the experience myself and several of my friends have experienced. The best advice I can offer is to not go to this establishment after a game or during a busy night. Besides the painstaking wait times of getting any attention for your order, if anyone happens to abruptly knock your drink out of your hands, they will not provide a compensatory drink due to the negligence of their patrons. We had this happen twice to us in one night and we were expected to pay full price both times. Obviously, this is not a situation that happens very often, but when it does I would hope that an establishment would be understanding enough to offer one on the house. In this establishment's case, it will never happen. This review will change, but given the failure in service performance tonight I need to be verbal and express my concerns for other potential patrons.

I ordered a drink and a glass of water. I had to remind the bar tender that I wanted a glass of water. When my group was standing at the bar to close our tabs, the bartender walked outside without closing mine. I had to go outside to tell him I was closing my tab also.I've heard this isn't the normal level of service.
