Ordered a slims wrap with grilled chicken and it did not have not even one piece of chicken in it. Just lettuce and cheese. If they didnt want to grill chicken I wish they would of just told me that

I ordered through the app, and while the food was fine, I had a few issues. First, getting into the parking lot from MLK was difficult. I ordered three ranch dressings but only received one. When I returned to request the missing ranches, the employee gave me only one more and pointed out that ranch costs 50 cents. The interaction felt dismissive, as I did order three. I will consider making lunch at home moving forward.

Very hit and miss. Truly. I can tell when it’s made fresh… I can tell when it’s been sitting for And hour under the heat lamp. They gave me all drumstick wings.. I don’t think they care too much.. slims can slap sometimes don’t get me wrong.

Truly just super inconsistent. Sometimes fries are not great, sometimes chicken tenders are a let down, and often both. Rarely do you feel like they are fresh made like they’re supposed to be with proper breading, seasoning, and brining. 3 stars because sometimes I have had good food here before.

My family lives in Missouri, but we are from NWA. We LOVE Slims. HOWEVER, visit was probably the worst experience we have ever had in a restaurant anywhere. We had to send our food back 4 times because our wings were still bleeding, every single time they were brought out to us. They tasted funny too, which made me think they were cooked yesterday, which was semi true. Apparently, the cook had blanched the frozen wings the evening before, trying to cut cook time in half for the next day. Huge fail. The staff were kind, and we wound up getting our money back, but it kinda ruined us on Slims, sadly. Some folks just don't belong in the kitchen.
This picture was taken after the last time our wings came out. My husband had already eaten it, and i had to point it out. My son was sick to his stomach for 2 days while we were down in AR visiting family.

They have started giving out nuggets as chicken strips, shorting the fries, the food is cold half the time. I just waited 20 minutes behind a single car that got a single meal. My food was cold and the chicken strips are the size of a nugget. The quality has been degrading week after week. I mean look at the size of the strip compared to your dip container. The dip container is actually larger than a chicken strip.

This location is disgusting! Paid $40 for 3 meals...didn't get everything we paid for, the food was horrible and none of us ate more than a couple bites and threw it all away. Last time we ate here the food wasn't up to par but we thought we would try a 2nd time. We will never go to this location again!

This Slim Chickens is ok if you have a quick pick up order but I am not a fan of dining in. The dining room is super tiny and crowded with a long hightop table in the center and other tables and booths close around it. They do have a large outdoor patio but it isn't covered/shaded and is right beside the noisy, busy street. The one time I dined in, the restaurant was empty and it was a late lunch. My kids and I ordered tenders and a sandwich and the kids meals came out within 10 min but my sandwich took 20min+! And no apology or explanation from the employees for the wait for 1 sandwich. I also think the set up with the get your own beverage station facing the open kitchen is odd and feels like you are in the middle of the employees convos and and food set up. I will say the store seems to run smoothly in the drive thru and taking orders at the counter, it is just unpredictable on the food wait times. I prefer the larger, spacious Wedington location.
This Slim Chickens’ manager and staff were understanding and kind to me after my dasher stole my order. Needless to say, I was in a foul, hangry mood when I arrived at the restaurant, but the gentleman at the drive thru window gave me hope in humanity.
And the sandwich and fries they made me were delicious. They were about to close but the food quality was excellent and the service was still lightning fast.
