SUSHI 101 / Ramen Haus

Adorable hole in the wall, friendly owner and delicious food. Underrated, given how quiet it was the last couple of times I went. Prices are decent too despite the recent increase in the cost of living, $12 for a chicken and rice bowl that will feed me all day (though I have a smaller stomach).

Absolutely best in town! Sunny and Jason are the kindest, sweetest people, and they always make us feel like we're dining in their home. A tip for sushi folks, get the gochujang sauce on the side to dip your sushi in. It's sooo delicious!

I wanted to preface this with the fact that I ordered take out 45 minutes before close. First time eating here with high hopes based on reviews. Was told there was soy sauce and utensils in the bag, but there was not. Called back 20 minutes before close to see about rectifying this, but they closed early. Imagine ordering specialty rolls with raw fish and not getting soy sauce or any way to eat it. However, the fish was fresh and tasty and at least they were friendly when they lied to me.

The food here is so great and these may be the nicest people I've ever found at a restaurant.

I absolutely love this place. The food is great. The workers are super nice and will take care of you. Jason is very kind and funny. The atmosphere is immaculate too. I've eating here many times now. Sushi 101/Ramen Haus has been my Asian eatery of choice since I discovered it about a year ago. Excellent place.
