We went to Tula for an end of the year dinner for the first time and really enjoyed our meal. My husband said it was the closet to taste of the mole he had in Chihuahua Mexico. Next time you want some mole go to Tula.
Dietary restrictions: They have a cauliflower option instead of meat on some dishes.
Parking: We used the parking garage next to cheap thrills.

Food was cold when served. No tortillas with mar y Tierra rush unless you ask. The Mini sopes trio were freshly prepared and delicious…. The churros were cold and hard. I told the waitress about it she said there is nothing she could do. The last 2 times I visited same experience. Menu choices are great but always struggle with food temp.
Kid-friendliness: Nice ambiance for families. Patio es nice n open

We put our name down for an hour and a half and then cancelled us. The manager came out and said that he moved us? Why you ask? Just a shrug and “I moved you off the list.”

The atmosphere is really nice, but other than that, I wasn't impressed at all.
I got the surf and turf. Honestly the best part of the meal was the rice, it was actually quite good.
The skirt steak was very under seasoned and the shrimp was fair at best.
The green tomatillo salsa was pretty good, but the red salsa wasn't great and the habanero was a bit too hot for me.
Service was also just "okay" at best.

My wife and I had an early weekday dinner. We enjoyed guacamole, sopa azteca, costillas asadas and carnitas. Everything was delicious. Our server was great! She checked on us regularly without being obtrusive to our time together. The only thing not delicious was the Isla Cocktail. Being from out of state, we were surprised by the number of taxes added to the bill.
Parking: Street parking is free after 6 pm. But always check the signs!

Tula is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The blackened salmon with corn salsa is to DIE for. And you have to order churros for dessert!
Rachel F. is the best waitress there! She has fun energy and looks like she really enjoys her job.

I guess I don't understand the concept the owners of Tula and Loma have for their restaurants. I really, really disliked Loma but was willing to give Tula a try based on recommendations from friends.
So, is Tula supposed to be somewhat upscale? The waitresses wear booty shorts and t-shirts. The location requires you to get scanned in and the restrooms are on the opposite side of the building. The place is tiny and very plain and very dark.
The food is decent but not anything special for the price. Honestly, the chips were the best thing we tried and they charge $5 for them. $7 for a beer that you have to beg for them to bring is also unacceptable.
Loma was strike one. Tula just confirmed what I was afraid of... you don't know what you are doing. A complete lack of understanding what your "concept" is. Good luck, you are going to need it.
Oh, btw, the QR code to order is absurd. NOBODY likes to have to use their phone to see the menu.

The salsa and homemade tortillas were fantastic. Will definitely go back.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a side door. I had to call the restaurant to open that door after 5.
