Whenever I'm in town visiting, this place is always my first stop despite living out of state. While the service and portion sizes have decreased slightly since it first opened, the food remains excellent. It's still a reliable choice, especially for the spicy beef noodle soup and pork egg rolls, which are absolutely delicious!

Authentic Vietnamese food? I think not. I am strictly judging this place by the bahn mi I ordered. When I was served the banh mi, the server said "sandwich" and while, yes, a banh mi is a type of sandwich, the banh mis here are more sandwich than banh mi.. if that makes sense. First, it was tiny; way overpriced for the size. Secondly, the bread that is used is not baguette bread. It was like basic white loaf sandwich bread one would buy at Walmart. I ordered the tofu variation, and it was odd to the say the least. It was shredded and deep fried for some reason, virtually making it taste like fried straw. The vegetables were also not pickled, so the entire thing lacked all flavor. Highly disappointing and not authentic in the slightest.

I am at a crossroads on how to write this review because it is a mix of good and bad. And we got there an hour before they were going to close, so that might have been the factor as to why the food quality was not as good as we have known it to be. It was my birthday and we didn't plan to go out to eat anywhere because our original plan was to eat at the place where we went for karaoke, but their kitchen was backed up and they could not push our order through and our server had to cancel our order. It's a Friday night everywhere is busy and we're pressed for time since we happened to be around the area we decided and choose Typhoon. We first discovered Typhoon Authentic restaurant when we moved here to NWA in 2019 they were the first place we tried and we were so satisfied and pleased with the food and service. We came back after COVID and they had made some changes and we were still somewhat satisfied. Their machine/ robot server got some getting used to. We had not been back in a while, I say it had probably been a year since our last visit. And we raved about this restaurant to our friends so we decided to go there, out of all the places in Fayetteville. Our order was as follows, Three orders of Bahn Mi Slider one with Beef, Pork, Chicken, Typhoon Pho, Vermicelli beef with tofu, and our friends got chicken lo mein and Bahn Mi Sandwich. So I do not know what has happened with the quality of food and their service at the front counter when placing your orders, they try to be a little bit more welcoming and pleasant. Now for the food part, it is pretty obvious they skimmed out on their fresh condiments in the Sliders and my Vermicelli Bowl was completely different from the last time I ordered, the noodles were not the same and I did not get the fish sauce that you poured into the dish and presentation of how they placed the food there was no love. It felt like they were saying to us here you go, now hurry up and eat the food so you can get out of here. Or like I really don't feel like trying and I don't care but here it is. And the Pho was not the same. Not sure if they had to make some adjustments with food brands and products due to the cost of everything because of the economy and due to inflation. Aside from that, I will praise them for having the machine/robot server singing Happy Birthday. That was nice. I do hope that the restaurant owner and cooks will remember how to bring back the same quality of food from my first visit there with them. Get back to having that flare, passion, and drive for good quality food and authentic flavor. Start back from the beginning. I HOPE they take into consideration what I am saying. I wish you and your restaurant the best.

Super clean, smelled great. Went in for bubble tea. Tapioca was a little stale and microwaved, that was disappointing.nservice was good though.

Overall a good restaurant there some things that I didn’t like is that you have to order at the counter, so while you decide what you want it feels a little awkward and rushed at the same time. The food for me was a little bland I ordered a vermicelli bowl lemongrass beef and tofu and I didn’t get a hint of lemongrass, for those who know what lemongrass is you know it’s a strong ingredient and yet no taste of lemongrass. I also had a Thai tea in a kids cup full of ice, I feel for the price it should come in a regular cup, but good taste. A good plus is that the bathrooms are clean no worries there. Staff is friendly and greet you upon entering. They also have a robot waitress which is cool to look at while you eat. If you want to enjoy a descent Vietnamese meal from time to time I would recommend.

Best Phō in town! We already agreed to come here a lot. If the cheery robot waitress doesn't make you smile, the great staff and incredible food will!

Veggie Pho... ordered "extra" veggies and it literally had one carrot slice and two small broccoli florets. I even brought it to their attention and they didn't really care. Taste was good and price was fair, so I'll give 4 stars.

Nice PHô restaurant, nice balance not salted to death and when you order "HOt" you get hot not just a little spicy.

Came super hungry after a hike to celebrate a friend's anniversary. Ordered at the counter so you pay your tip before you get your food and service, which both was lacking. Had to walk to counter multiple times to ask about a missing order and garnish. Our friend ordered vegan fried rice and immediately tasted eggs in his order. The kitchen would not remake his dish without the taste of eggs and kept insisting they didn't add eggs and I later asked the cashier if they could have possibly cooked it in the same wok without washing it and the guy basically said they only had 1 wok. They returned his dish and said if he wanted something else he would have to pay for it, so my friend who is sensitive to the taste of eggs told them to keep the dish and no remediation was made even after I told them we were celebrating his anniversary.By the way if you have a party of more than 8, you cannot sit together because they don't know how to accommodate and serve a party bigger than that. And since we paid on the same tab we were basically serving ourselves when the appetizers and drinks we ordered was delivered by a cat bot and delivered to 1 table and we were passing food to the other table ourselves. For an experienced restaurant they could have sent the cat bot and still had someone unloading all the drinks and food and serve it to the right tables since a 20% tip was given. The coconut mixed bean and jelly desserts was lacking, some ingredients listed were missing and the cup was partially filled, but was charged full price. The large pho is a joke, same amount of filling as the regular with just extra broth to make it look full and the garnish is same size as regular, any extra you have to pay for. Finally the 20% tip included the $21 tax and then charged a credit card fee of basically $8 and they do not bother telling you.Dietary restrictions: If they cook everything in 1 wok and they don't clean with soap and water between dishes you could possibly get food contamination like the taste of eggs in the left over oil used to make the fried rice my friend had in his tofu and rice dish.

Anything Bahn ni related will be fantastic, chicken wings were phenomenal.Where the ball was dropped was their beef entree, beef tasted spoiled. Kind of ruined our meal and experience.

Favorite pho place in town! The chicken pho with extra meat gets me through anything when I’m sick. Pho Typhoon is also amazing. Banh Mi sliders are one of my favorite apps in town with the super soft buns.

First time going to a Viet place where I had to order at the counter. The robot did an ok job at bringing us our drink. I didn't spill my drink at all. So proud of me.
