What can I say, it's waffle house. I always know what to expect when I go in there, and I always get it, and that's worth its weight in gold. The servers are always warm and friendly and the food is predictably comfortable comfort food. They won't win any prizes for healthy food, but who cares?
The Establishment was busy. I had to ask for the sticky table to be wiped down, again... from previous customers' use.
My iced tea had a strange fishy taste to it. It took 15 minutes for our waitress to return to our table to refill my husband's coffee and for me to request a Pibb Xtra, in place of the tea.
I ordered the Steak meal.. the thin steak was overcooked.. my hash browns weren't cooked in the center.. and they didn't...

Every time me and my wife roll into the Waffle House in Fayetteville late at night, we know we're in good hands — and that's all thanks to Rupert. This man’s a legend. He remembers our usual, treats us like family, and somehow makes late-night breakfast taste even better. Eggs? Perfect. Toast? Toasty. Service? Top-tier, even when it’s 12 a.m.
