Wes BBQ Burger Plus

This has been a Fayetteville staple for decades. Wes's was the place to go after High School and during every Razorback game. 1994 Basketball Championship i remember eating Wes's BBQ. Best BBQ in Fayetteville btw.

This place is a great off the beaten path whole in the wall type and the food was tremendous, staff friendly and atmosphere is what you’d expect, small, quiet and welcoming.

We loved the sausage, tater tots, and onion rings. This is definitely what you call a “hole in the wall” place which is not a bad thing. The waitress was very friendly. The food was excellent. The soda is by the can (and we much prefer fountain drinks with refills). It’s not a spic and span clean place, but neither did we feel uncomfortable eating there.

Honestly, for a bbq/burger joint that's location is hidden (love it) is pretty good. I had the fries that are delicious (heard the tater tots are the go to) and had the double bacon burger which is not sloppy like you would get at 5 guys or cj butcher boy. I'm curious though if the patties are somewhat boiled. But other than that's its delicious!!

These are the best tater tots I've ever eaten. I ordered a 2nd order of just tater tots. Its like they just deep fried some breaded mashed potatoes. I know this isn't really what they did. But they tasted that good.

My burger was solid, but the tater tots are the real attraction here.

Rude employees on power trips.

Came in for a nice lunch with a co-worker. Arrived too some guy (Seemed to be owner) eating ribs off the table, no plate with dirty fingers and 2 inch long finger nails. The server was nice, but Burger came out grey and tasted boiled. There was no flavor in the burger and restaurant was really dirty and not maintained. Definitely recommend finding another BBQ joint in town because this is by far the worst one in NWA I've been too.
