First time eating there. Last time as well. I was hoping they would represent our state ( founded in Little Rock AR) but the ribs were extremely small. They did not tell us they were baby back ribs when we ordered. It was a family fest and ended up feeding two people out of 4. We had to eat left overs. Would NEVER recommend. We have to do better RAZORBACK country.

I dont care what new BBQ joint pops up in or around town..this is the best brisket, hands down. The place is decorated with trophies..........winning BBQ trouphies. Be easy with the Volcano sauce and tell the staff how good the food is in person.

The lady at the counter was so sweet and patient. I couldn’t make up my mind of what kind of sauce I wanted for my to go order. I enjoyed looking at all of the trophy’s Whole Hog has won for their BBQ. They won several in each category. Pulled Pork Sandwich with Cole Slaw on the side. They give you a choice, on the sandwich or on the side. both were awesome! I will definitely be back. I only had to wait about 5 minutes and I was out the door.

OUT OF BRISKET AT 7 o clock on a friday night! What kind of bbq place does that ? The place was dead .. and ive seen a lot of bad reviews lately. Is it because ive been seeing them short staffed and always hiring? Is this place going downhill? This was once one of the best bbq places ... Hopefully this is just a bad slump they are going through. I will be back, but they better prove me wrong next time so I can change my rating!!

Good BBQ but not always consistent. Ribs are tender and tasty but very small (not baby back ribs, just very small). On a few occasions my order has been missing significant items such as ribs or brisket, which makes up a good portion of the cost. Check your order, if you can. If you are ordering through a delivery service/someone else is picking up for you ~ good luck.
All in all, the location is convenient and the food is good when it's all there. Portions could be larger and should be consistent, for the price considering how small the ribs are. Employees could be a little better about checking that the order is right.
*** Since writing my initial review we have had our order wrong 3 more times. Missing the ribs that come with the Hog Platter twice, and missing a side of brisket on another occasion. We will be looking for a different BBQ restaurant. The price does not match the portions, ever, but more important than that -- They cannot get it right and will shortchange your order. Repeatedly. I cannot recommend this restaurant and will no longer be ordering from them. ***

Dissatisfied customers. We spent $84.83 for food that was inedible. Ribs. Burnt ends. Brisket and sausage were so overcooked or had been sitting there for a day or two. No sauce given. We ordered so.much because we thought we would have leftovers but we couldn't really even eat it for one meal. We were leary on a Friday night and there was only one other couple in there. That should have been a red flag. We won't waste that kind if money again.

In my opinion, this has always been the superior BBQ place in NWA and it remains so still. Ignore the marketing trends and the fake paid-for rankings from other restaurants…Whole Hog is the best by far.
Slowly has gone down hill over the years. Same issue with staff that keeps me from waning to come back. They always look like they dont want to be there. Last two times ive waited extended periods of time waiting at the desk. No one showed up today, when I looked in the back. They were all on their phones. I stood there staring... once again. No service. You can find much better atmosphere and food else where.

My go-to place to order from after a particularly challenging week. Food is ALWAYS spot on and portions are very generous. Highly recommend giving Whole Hog Cafe a try!!
