I was greeted with a smile and genuine desire to answer any of my questions. There were only 2 spaces open in the 15min parking area and all the permanent parking was taken. For good reason! The inside of the shop was full, yet inviting. The head barista talked coffee with me and shared the “community over competition” focus that they have. That means they don’t serve local roaster coffees, opting to share out of town roasters with their client base and telling them to go drink local coffees at the local shops if they want local. They currently buy from roasters in North Carolina, Washington, and Kansas City. I couldn’t wait to try my half-sweet cardamom honey latte before snapping a pic. Hence the skewed latte art! Go check them out!! It was outstanding.

Word Coffee is a Fayetteville gem & my absolute favorite place to go to when I need to get work done. Their coffee is outstanding (hands down the best in town), food is always yummy, and the atmosphere is very warm, inclusive, friendly, and relaxed. It is conveniently located off College, has unlimited fast Wifi, a large standing desk and ample seating spaces with access to outlets. Beyond the quality of goods, Word Coffee has the most outstanding service. Alan + crew are always welcoming and genuinely care about making Word inviting to everyone. All this to say, they make my days a lot brighter and I am beyond grateful that Word Coffee exists when I need to switch up my work environment :) Thank you for being so awesome!

This is a true gem of a coffee shop. We were in town for a long weekend from Texas and came to Word Coffee every day for the delicious coffee and welcoming, friendly environment. Their beautifully crafted seasonal drinks were something to behold! I definitely recommend this place.

This is a chill place to work and the customer service was friendly. I don’t drink coffee so I ordered a matcha. I asked for it unsweetened but it was still a bit sweet and felt old, like it was in the pitcher for a while. This is common in NWA though as there’s only 1-2 places around s that will make fresh matcha lattes from the powder.
