Mateo's offers a warm and cozy family atmosphere alongside delicious, fresh, Mexican food. Their prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. My favorite is the Chorizo Chicken, which comes out on a hot skillet-platter that continues to cook the dish's cheese to a beautiful crisp around the edges. It's stellar!

Nice place. My mother and I liked the dishes we got. The only thing I’d recommend is to cook the bell peppers a bit more on some of the dishes. Otherwise really good. The salsa they use is amazing !

Never disappoints! This place is consistently great and always hits all the spots. You KNOW it's good when it hits more than just THE spot...haha!Vegetarian options: You can request that they put no meat on most of the entrees if you prefer vegetarian meals.Parking: There's plenty of parking along the 2 long sides of the restaurant and behind the building as well.Kid-friendliness: The owners allowed their children to choose the kids menu options and those options are named on the menu after the kid who chose it.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp up to the door that's on the west side of the building.

Chicken soup is the BEST I've ever had.. salsa and chips are GREAT and the homemade limeade is made to order I like mine on the sweet side they always make sure the prepare the way I like it!!!

Damn good food. The hot sauce is actually hot. And the waitress was very pleasant and just an all around friendly helpful demure person. Which is very admirable in someone working the service industry.The cook also knew the ingredients of what I ordered. So no worries on allergies.

My sister in law and I stopped in for lunch a couple weeks ago. My sister in law was not impressed. She's not from here. I believe her order was wrong to begin with, but she didn't send it back. She was having problems stomaching the food. Too much cheese, I believe. I ordered the steak fajitas. My steak was a lil too well done, but all in all it was good. I went to pay and like to fell out, $45, lunch for two. That's more than $20 a person. Too steep for my pocket. The food could've been better. The atmosphere was okay. The service was definitely the best thing.
Just spend $35 dollar on quesadillas and a large guacamole. Opened the tray up when I got home to find what looks like chuck's cheese upside down pizza. Might say new ownership but it's just awful calling yourself Mexican food. $35 on a quesadilla I understand if young hector has to go run down the road and catch the chicken. Overpriced and shameful .
