I have seen this place a few times driving by. I decided to stop in and eat. Even though the staff was extremely busy they were very, very friendly. And the food was really good. So I keep coming back
This place is a Dive! Not clean at all. The food was a frozen bunch of meat. We ordered the BBQ 2 meat Combo. The stuff you buy at Sam's club was so much better. I will tell you that their sauce they had, that was good. I got so sick from the little bit that I ate. I also had the house salad, which that was good and hubby had the onion rings which were good also, just way to greasy. This restaurant needs to shut down for at least a week and thoroughly Scrub and clean this...
My Mom and I are driving back from Illinois and I googled “best home cooking restaurants near me”. I’m so glad this one came up. The waitress was so polite, friendly, and helpful with the menu. The restaurant is clean. The pickled green tomatoes and red onions that come as an option with an order were delicious! The fried fish and shrimp combo was hot, fresh and delicious! The hush puppies tasted home made. The house fries were fresh hand cut potatoes fried to perfection...
