We've camped in Arkansas in the fall for the last 39 years as a group of friends and for the last 10+ years lunch at the Wooden Spoon has become a tradition on our way to the campsite. Our waitress is always happy to see this motley crew and this year was no different... A favorite ever year is the chicken fried steak or fried catfish and this year was just as great as ever! We did have one disappointment this year though. The pies were not ready, which was a sad event although non of us needed more food! Bottom line, will we go back? Yes, expect us about noon thirty on the last Friday in October! It really is that good.
