took ONE bite of that chicken, and immediately, my stomach sent out an SOS. Something was so wrong it felt like a personal attack. That chicken was slimy in a way that I didn’t even know was physically possible. It looked like some kind of science experiment gone horribly wrong—or something I might have concocted in the shower as a kid when I was bored and gross. Honestly, it was terrifying. Chicken should never, under any circumstance, look like that. The texture alone should be illegal. I tried to chew. I really did. But my body absolutely revolted. My gag reflex triggered so fast it was like my stomach knew something evil had invaded it. My eyes watered, I had to fight back tears, and I spent what felt like an eternity trying not to throw up right there at the table. Every second I spent near that plate was a battle for my dignity.

I have literally never experienced chicken so dedicated to ruining someone’s life. This chicken wasn’t just bad; it was actively malicious. Every fiber of it seemed designed to destroy my appetite, my mood, and my will to live. I could not swallow it. I could not even look at it. Just the sight of it made my stomach churn and my mouth water in the worst, gag-inducing way possible. I am genuinely traumatized. I will be reliving this moment in nightmares, and I can honestly say I will think about this chicken for the rest of my life—probably every time I see a plate of food, ever.

And then there’s the rice. Oh, the rice. Somehow, in some twisted culinary universe, the rice managed to be even worse than the chicken. It tasted like someone had cooked it over an open fire, then forgot it there for hours, then decided to dump it in an ashtray to finish cooking. Every bite was pure, unadulterated smoke and disappointment. There was no seasoning. There was no attempt. It was dry, flavorless, burnt, and somehow sad all at once. I don’t even know how rice can taste that bad, but somehow this place achieved it. It wasn’t just rice—it was a life lesson in regret. Eating it felt like slowly signing away the last bits of hope I had in my taste buds. I couldn’t even focus on my water because the memory of each bite made me gag again. I genuinely believe this rice could be classified as a culinary weapon.

And then there’s the waiter. Oh, the waiter. Their voice was so extremely high-pitched it physically hurt my ears every time they spoke. I know they were trying to be kind, and maybe they were nice in spirit, but the sound of that voice could not be tolerated while trying to survive the trauma of my meal. It added another layer of chaos and discomfort that my poor brain did not need. Every polite question or attempt to explain the issue felt like nails on a chalkboard, and honestly, nothing could cover up the horror happening on my plate. I was trapped in a perfect storm of bad food and unbearable vocal pitch.

This meal ruined my appetite. It ruined my mood. It ruined my evening. I am still shaking from the experience and will be haunted by it for a long time. I regret every decision that led me to that table, that plate, that first bite. My trust in chicken is gone. My faith in rice is gone. My ability to enjoy dining out may be permanently compromised. Honestly, I can’t even exaggerate how devastating this was. I will never recover. I will never eat that dish again. It’s a betrayal of food itself.

If someone asked me what went wrong, I would tell them everything—the slimy chicken, the nightmare-inducing rice, and the high-pitched waiter who could not make up for the horror in front of me. This was not just a meal. This was an experience I would rather forget, but will never, ever forget. It will haunt me. It will torment me. And it will forever be the worst meal I have ever encountered in my life.

I love this place! Best food and best service in Fort Smith. My favorite dishes are pho tom yum with seafood, pad kee maow with seafood, seafood basil stir fry, and seafood basil fried rice! pad udon is also a favorite! Food is always flavorful and delicious with big portions. There’s always lovely music playing in the background and service is always welcoming and friendly. 1000/10!

I called in 30 minutes ahead for a fried rice just to wait another 20 minutes on a Wednesday not a single apology.

They are horribly slow. They totally ignore people when they walk in the door. I stood at the door for over 20 minutes and they never spoke a word to me. I just left and I will not be back.

My friend brought me here with glowing recommendations, and it did not disappoint! I had the beef larb and a side of egg drop soup and both were fantastic. But the mango sticky rice stole the show. Best I’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend.

I was very disappointed .I won't eat from there again
Looked like a bug was cooked in my rice and the chicken was very tough. My rice went into the trash disposal and I ate four pieces of my chicken.

Extremely kind and attentive service! The food was phenomenal as well. I had the Pad Garlic and my boyfriend had the Pho Tom Yum soup, both were incredible. The soup was the best I've ever had, and the Pad Garlic had a wonderful sauce with it, I had chicken with mine. This place is a must-go, very underrated!!
