Service and food were exceptional. I had the Southern fried chicken and gravy, greens, and baked squash. All were delicious. The peach cobbler for dessert completed a perfect lunch.
We came to town from Erie Pa for a funeral and let me tell you. This place gave us some good old comfort food. Robin gave us amazing kindness and service. She said we had to come back for breakfast so we did! Then again tonight for dinner! Tay was our waitress tonight and also wonderful. I will dream of your pot roast and cinnamon rolls.
Been eating here for 20+ years. Food is good, service was great-@Sydney, yet there is a serious problem with cleanliness. This past Saturday I went thru THREE utensil sets trying to find one that didn’t have food or napkin pieces stuck to it from the last person to use it. GROSS! Come on, y’all can do better than that!
This morning I had an issue with my door dash order. I called the restaurant and they corrected it immediately. So grateful for the service I received this morning! Thank you!!

Little cramped inside but the food and service was fine. Country cooking at a decent price. Large menu with daily specials.

Prices are more expensive here for grab and go items than other gas stations. For example, the woman behind the counter charged me $1.89 for ice, and I used my own cup! Staff here appear nice, but they are NOT!

Okay. Yikes. So I wanted some country fried steak for dinner, and the reviews and pictures made this place seem promising. I ordered quite a large order for myself because I wanted to sample plenty of their items.
First of all, the order took almost an hour to get to me, and was, of course, mostly cold.
The supposedly sugar cured ham is OVERWHELMINGLY salty to the point that I could not take more than two bites.
I ordered my eggs hard and they were almost raw.
The toast was chewy and soggy in a very gross way.
However, the worst part - the country fried steak. I was looking forward to it so much, and I got….a sad chicken strip sized piece of meat, already covered in gravy and soggy. Not even taking its very, very sad size into account, It was basically tasteless and the breading just fell off of it in a soggy, wet mess.
So disappointing.

One of my favorite places to eat in Fort Smith. Everyone gets a cinnamon roll before they eat their meal whether it is lunch or breakfast. Southern Home cooking at its finest. The baked squash and the broccoli and rice sides are quite filling.
Very friendly servers.
Vegetarian options: There is a veggie plate and it is one of the specials for the day on Mondays.

My mom had the catfish and said it was delicious, sister had the fried chicken livers and fyi it takes a bit longer to cook apparently we were told because it did take a bit longer to get our order out. I had the fried pork chops and they were delicious, they were not thick cuts, which I don’t care for anyway I prefer mine to be thinner so they were perfect, maybe could have used a bit more seasoning for taste but salt added helped. The baked squash was cheesy and the sweet potato casseroles were both delicious also
Parking: It was our first time and the parking lot was full which is a good sign that the food is good ?and depending on the time of day you get there also, the lunch crowd was very busy and we were there on a Thursday afternoon
