Church's Texas Chicken

I ordered a chicken sandwich just to try it… it was not good at all. Do not get it unless you want 3mm of chicken and only fried breading.

You can also be there for 5 min and come out smelling like fried chicken. So don’t come in there with your best Sunday fits.

Drive an hour to Tulsa and go to Church’s there.

Well, I thought I wanted chicken for dinner tonight!!!! My husband and I decided after.a very long day of moving and cleaning that I would drive into Ft. Smith and pick up chicken. So Church’s was 1st on our list. I pulled into their lot at 6:20 pm and immediately noticed a lot that was not up to expected standards (menu board open and unable to shut, lot lights not working or missing the light covers, and what looked like a hose coming out of the kitchen. I tried to put things out of my mind, and then only to find out they were out of spicy chicken at now 6:30 on a Monday evening!!!! Needless to say, I just had a bad feeling about the restaurant who would run out of chicken during evening rush, and have a facility so lacking in care!!! If they can’t take care of the outside, do I really feel they are up to standards in food quality? My heart and brain said no, so I left without waiting the 25 minutes for fresh spicy chicken.

There's a reason why this place is usually empty. Worse management ever experienced. If you ask to speak, or leave a message with, management be prepared for threats of calling the police. All because I asked for my free meal for signing up on the app. I ordered it with 2 sandwiches for my neighbor that I was giving a ride to from the hospital. Never again.

Ordered a 3 piece wing combo with okra. The food was not fresh at all. As long as it took them to get my combo to me, I thought I would be piping hot, needless to say it was NOT fresh.

Not very many people were there n it needs a face-lift because it don't look to good on the outside but man food is delicious n service was excellent very nice young man.

I used to drive a distance of 40 minutes to get there every 2 or 3 weeks or so and lately something has changed. Then went the other day and asked for honey for my 3 piece chicken. She said you didn't order a biscuit and that was the only way I could get ONE packet. I said I have never had that issue before. Then she made a smart remark and said I will give you one this time but no more in the future. They don't have to worry about that 1 packet anymore. I will find somewhere else closer to home for 1 packet of honey for a 3 PC chicken.

It's fried chicken. Not the best I've had and definitely not the worst I've had either. The mac and cheese was a bit soggy, the biscuit was a bit tough but the chicken was fresh and crispy. For a quick chicken dinner you'll be a winner winner at churches chicken for dinner.

I thought Churches Chicken had a little bite in their flavor.
I was wrong it's Popeyes it think that I was tasting for.
But my family did enjoy the meal. And everybody was working and busy. And looked to be a delivery in the process. So all was satisfactory.

Older man in dining area was sweeping the table with a broom- yes a broom! Sweeping the tables off with a broom and then moving on to the next table. Never bothered to actually wipe the table down. Once finished with the tables, he used the same broom and dust pan to do the floors and also the bathroom! I love Church’s chicken but I’ll never eat at the Fort Smith location again!

I travel 2 hours from Centerton ark just for there fried chicken me and my husband love there hot soft butter biscuits the chicken so crispy and a good size but i specially love there coleslaw can't find that great taste in any other chicken place we're truely loyal customers
