There has been a lot of debate about Ed Walkers in the last year or so. This was a favorite place to eat in Fort Smith when we came to town, in recent years we've started trying new places each time so it's been a couple of years since we last ate here. We decided to try it out again to see for ourselves if rumors of slipping quality and service were true or not. I'm happy to report the food was cooked just right, the burger patties we done through but still juicy. Mom had the half pound cheeseburger, I got the Bahama momma. We also split an order of half jalapeño buttons and half fried pickle chips. The young ladies serving were all sweet and polite as a proper Southerner would expect. Prices have gone up but for the quality and quantity of food it's not unreasonable. Total bill was $38 and change or us both and the Roquefort dressing is definitely still my favorite. Only issue I had was the dressing on my burger dud make the bottom bun a bit soggy before I was done, next time I'll ask for it on the side instead.

This place is a classic for a reason. Get the French dip, fried pickles, and do not forget the pie!

Always a pleasure to come here. One of my favorite places to go. Some of the best burgers in town. Of course. I can't say too much about the French dip either. Wonderful pies as well. The ladies that work in there are amazing.

That was the worst burger I’ve had in a long time. It was dry and had no seasoning. Something did not taste right about it.

Tonight I took my family out to eat, we decided to try something very new for first time since we moved to fort smith ark, unfortunately ed dinner that we had very high hopes for was extremely disappointing. Although the service and environment was okay, the food was disappointing. I got the pastrami’ on rye for $12.99 and it very disappointing. The meat was old and rubber taste, it was not fresh, some of the meat was cold were they used a microwave to heat. & it was very little meat. The bread to meat ratio was crazy… my son & wife got a burger my wife got the mushroom burger & unfortunately was disappointed. Stated she had better at Hardee’s fast food restaurant… Now my son he loves burger so he thought the burger would be good, but unfortunately he was disappointed his plain cheeseburger was undercook and their was no flavor to it at all… He didn’t eat any of it, so we opted to leave and just pay the bill. Best food items was the crinkle cut French fries.

After ordering drinks we never saw another server and sat there so long I was like well I guess we can go somewhere else, the table next to me said I would they never came back for refills and haven’t seen anyone in a bit. Paid my 13 bucks for our full drinks left on the table. As we got in the car I watched the server go clean the drinks and grab the menus. She was sitting at the bar top the whole time.
