The cake was custom ordered with a 4 -day lead time. It didn’t taste fresh and the buttercream icing was way too sweet. It took a long time for them to even greet me or ask what I needed and when they did, they seemed annoyed to have to help me and I felt rushed. I paid $70 for a mediocre cake and rude service.

I ordered 2 cakes, I left up to them how to decorate. I was very disappointed in the way they were decorated. Colors didn't match. Also you could definitely tell the cakes were not fresh. Will not use them again for cakes.

5/18/24 I ordered a red velvet cake with chocolate frosting chocolate drip and chocolate covered strawberries and I was sadly disappointed. It's been a while since I have ordered a cake from this harps but it was amazing when I last did, very moist with a delicious flavor, today was a big bummer it had such a dry crumb I felt like you needed to drink milk to get it down your throat, the strawberries were way too far on the edge with the large icing border so it started collapsing the icing and cracking the dry cake. Which in all honesty I was able to fix it fine, that specifically wasn't a big deal. The people upfront I kind of felt bad because they looked like they wanted to be anywhere else then there dealing with costumers. Which they could have had an absolute full schedule because of graduation time, still you can at least fake enough to put a half smile on your face not all customers are awful. I went up there with a smile and thanked them and left. I know it's still a supermarket cake so it's not like it is the best of the best I was just bummed because I have had a lot better at the same place. The decorator did a very nice job though other then the misplacement of the strawberries, it was pretty.

Harps #174 bakery and their talented decorators have never let me down. Today was no different! They fully delivered for my daughters 7th birthday! We’ve had cakes from other “big box” bakeries and they were garbage. Harps cakes are not only beautiful but also so soft and taste great! We’ll definitely be returning to Harps for all our cake needs!
