IHOP is a basic restaurant that is very clean and has excellent food and service. The prices, however, are considered ridiculous by some, with an omelette costing $18. The restaurant has a few issues with seating, as a reviewer felt they were seated near the restrooms because of their race. Despite this, the reviewer appreciated the attentive and cheerful service from the waitress and the willingness to move them to a different table. Overall, IHOP prioritizes good customer service, awareness, and respect, but may need to work on being mindful of "optics" and creating a welcoming environment for all customers.
