It was enchilada Thursday and we were in the area so we ate here. $1.99 each. They were really good.and the tortilla chips are awesome. They are super light and fresh every day.

We always try the same taco Tuesday specials for lunch but had seen this across Facebook and wanted to give it a try. Walked in and sat down. Waiter took forever to come over and bring our drinks and a menu if that. When she finally did asked for our order, she asked if we need a menu and of course, we knew we wanted tacos but I guess we weren’t going to get one anyways since it took forever, she was rude about it. We didn’t get no napkins or silverware with our meal. Slammed the plates down when our food got out and just walked off. Finally after we got done eating, a new waiter comes to ask if everything was ok and finally got some napkins. Needless to say we won’t be try it again. Didn’t get her name, but it she had black hair and glasses on today. Overheard her say to another customer when they asked if today was taco Tuesday specials she said “I don’t know I guess it is.”

My husband paid almost $40 for their family sized House Special on Sunday. It didn’t have nearly as much cheese as it should have, and it was bland. We didn't even eat half of it... I politely commented on their Sunday Special post about it, and instead of using some customer service skills, they ignored me and deleted my comment. So, from now on, I will ignore them, and go to one of the other 100 mexican restaurants I have to choose from!

Surprisingly horrid service and attitude from the staff. I’ve been there many times over the years and never had what happened tonight. My mother ordered a ranchera plate. They brought her Del Mar (seafood) my mother never orders total seafood dishes from any Mexican restaurant. I was right next to her. Heard it. When the brought the food my mother said hey I didn’t order this and the girl said yes you did and ran off instead of a dressing the problem. My mom ate half an enchilada and couldn’t eat it. Then they gave me terrible attitude when I tried to address it at the counter. I advise going to la fiesta or anywhere else. My family and I will never be back again. Thanks for treating her like crap on her birthday.

My Wife and I love La Mesa. We brought my brother and told my parents about this place, everyone has agreed it is the best Mexican restaurant in Fort Smith. I’m torn saying that I’m glad this place doesn’t get a ton of traffic because their food is fast and always hot. I wish more people knew about this place. Best restaurant for a quick bite or a date night away from the kids.
