I only stopped because I forgot to buy salsa from the store Las Palmas on Midland by Sonic before it closed
The taco truck lights were on so I decided to ask if I could buy some salsa from them to use in the food I was cooking at home.
THEY ARE SUPER NICE AND FRIENDLY PEOPLE WHO MAKE GREAT FOOD FOR A GREAT PRICE!
They gave me 6 small cups for free, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS SALSA! They charged me nothing.
I was so surprised I gave a couple of dollars for their generosity. Their food is always great and cheaper than the competition.
Vegetarian options: Veggie fajitas, California Mixed Grill Veggies,
Parking: Salsa if fire but flavor packed delicious taste
Kid-friendliness: YES! THE ENVIRONMENT IS VERY KID- FRIENDLY! GREAT PEOPLE!
IT IS NOT THE BEST OPTION FOR KIDS TO RUN AROUND OR PLAY THE PARKING LOT,
BUT GOOD NEWS, THERES A PARK A COUPLE BLOCKS AWAY THAT IS A GREAT PLACE FOR KIDS TO RUN AROUND AND PLAY, PLENTY OF OUTDOOR SEATING PICNIC TABLES, OUTDOOR GRILLS, SWINGS, SLIDES, BASKETBALL COURT, TENNIS COURT, VOLLEYBALL NET, AND MORE!
if you have kiddos u can always call ahead to order to save time and their menu is online to view pics of their food options which really helps get a visual idea of what u might want then by the time you arrive u can pick it up and go straight to the park for a wonderful picnic.
That way u bypass the cranky hungry babies fussing stage and skip right onto the part where u take all the credit,
And u deserve it, parenthood will make a sane person totally nuts! Celebrate your wins without shame because u got it all under control!
Even if u don't call ahead to pre-order, if the kids get too fussy during the wait u can always drive thru the sonic line , if u have multiple kids to get a toy for, " Look totally in despair as u pull up to the window" and just say "PLEASE, HELP ME"!
Then as you're deeply penatrating their eyes say, "I hate to ask but i really could really use a little help, Ive got x number of munchkins with me, nobody to tag me out for break, I been hard at it solo rider,
Any way u will help me w some distraction toys for these babies so I can have 1day without my mind becoming scrambled eggs waiting for food to take to the park?
There is a wonderful park that is great for kids and adults, wheelchair accessible as well and has covered metal tables for plenty of room to eat, nice shaded area around north 8 or 9 and h street or so
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes plenty of room to park and easily order without struggling

Food was alright, got Asada Street tacos. Usually I will get more then I can eat that day and will heat the rest up either that night or the next day but the fat content on the meat in these tacos made them undesirable for a second round.

only seen waitress 1 time to take order. Was out of drink for almost whole meal wife wanted dessert but no one ever asked us anything they just brought are ticket put on table walked away fast

My rating is based on my other FS taco food truck experiences. The tacos were good but I’ve found fat and tendon-like pieces which wasn’t pleasant. I also got the sopes which were great. I saw in some reviews that they did not like the Horchata and I agree it isn’t the best and according to the owners response, that’s their style of making it. I personally don’t like the chalky texture of it. And finally, when I asked the lady at the window for extra hot sauce, she seemed annoyed. The other food truck that I usually go to asks me what sauce I want and how much.
