Prior to our overnight stay in Fort Smith, we had read up on Neumeier's and its history. Definitely check out the Rolling Stones collection in the bar. Lunch did not disappoint—great BBQ and delicious beans. A must do when visiting downtown Fort Smith.

To be honest this place was pretty good. I ordered the little bit of everything meal ($30) and it did not disappoint. It was so much food, I had to take some home. You could prob share this meal with another person. We came in a Saturday night and there was no wait. The food came out pretty fast and tasted really good. They also have a good selection of beer that is priced good. Our server Karla knew her job and was very friendly!
The place was decked out in tons of rock n roll memorabilia. It had tons of space and tons of tables for bigger parties.

Well we got there too late but thankfully it wasn’t loud and crowded- it was our first time there and we got some fries loaded with shredded pork( and a sprinkling of cheese drizzled with sour cream and barbecue sauce with jalapeños on the side). More cheese on this would be awesome. I think they probably need to pour the cheese on top of the fries and then the meat. But we were searching for cheese hard.
And the margarita must be made with one of those old bottled mixes- it didn’t taste like it had any tequila in it for a $10 drink. I doubt I ever order a margarita there again .
I really should’ve asked them to change it or send it back I think I drank about an eighth of it .
We have been told they have great ribs so I’m going to give them another chance. We’re gonna come back one of these days for ribs. And cola.

The BBQ is super smoky! Seems straightforward... but I've noticed Arkansas BBQ can be a little, idk, mild? But this is super smoky. Got the little bit of everything platter, the chicken and sausage were amazing. The ribs were also great and it was a huge portion of food. My boyfriend and I shared it and still took some home. Could've done without the pork loin, and the pulled pork was just okay but overall very good and not super pricey for BBQ. The beans were too sweet for us, but coleslaw and potato salad were good. We also came during happy hour on Saturday and they had cheap mimosas and $2 domestics.

Had a meeting at Neumeiers, and sat outside for more privacy - it was private, but really loud with the traffic. The food was amazing (love the fried pickles), and the server was really kind to us and super helpful.

Had the pulled pork, which was super dry and tasted like it had recently seen a microwave. Had the baked beans, they were old and microwaved as well. Had the onion rings, the only way to screw up onion rings is to burn them, which they did. The absolute worst part was the flies!!! There were so many flies in the dining area that even if the food was edible, you would have to fight the flies for your food! Absolutely horrible experience. Old reheated meat like what they are serving will get people sick! $20 and nothing was even remotely edible! I would highly reccomend avoiding!
