It was nice to walk from our hotel to the restaurant. My wife split an eleven-ounce sirloin with a salad and asparagus. The steak was cooked to perfection as was the asparagus. The salad was good. It had been a long time since we had visited an Outback but if this is an example we won't wait as long again.

The food was okay. The service was okay. The a/c seemed to be down the night we visited. They had a portable unit, but it wasn't big enough to cool the dining space. Hopefully this issue won't last long. Our drinks didn't come until after we received our appetizer. We had to ask for drink refills. We had to remind the server that we had ordered a drink from the bar. When we received it, it tasted watered down as if the ice had already started to melt...like it had sat for too long. The biggest issue we had was that members of our group wanted to try the new Shark Week drinks. They came out with no shark and no explanation as to why. When we asked, we were told that the location had either not received their sharks or that they were out. We should have been told when the drinks were ordered as this was a special promotion and a collectors item.

Our server name Rhonda was very helpful and attentive, she stopped by to check on us very often and she was making sure we weren’t short on anything,

If I could leave zero stars I would, this is the worst place in fort smith when it comes to service. I was told to leave by David, the manger because I brought to his attention that we were being completely ignored by every server in the restaurant. Very unprofessional and I would never step foot back in this place again. Awful service, don't waste your time and ruin your day

You know there’s a problem when you go to a restaurant during the business time of the week and the parking lot is not even half full. After waiting 15-20 minutes for them to take our order I realized why they were able to get us in with no wait while every other restaurant we tried had at least a 20 minute wait! The service was extremely slow…which was crazy since there was hardly anybody there. The food was OK at best. They didn’t even have some of the items on their menu! The steak I got was real tough and the baked potato tasted like it was baked the day before and the reheated today. It had that leftover after taste to it. The desert was delicious, but then again…how hard is it to get it right with all that sugar…. I would not choose to eat here again unless, like today, we couldn’t get in anywhere else in a timely fashion.

I have to start by saying I haven't previously enjoyed Fort Smith Outback because of the service. Well let me say that was total turn around tonight as Addie made our experience 5 star. She was amazing and I will return because of her. Thanks again Addie for being so good at taking care of the customer!
