Only 2 other couples there, huge menu, The tea (free) was luke warm--ask them to heat it up if you like hot tea, the dumpling appetizer for $4.50 was 4 tiny pieces not worth it, the pho ($13-14) was average I've had much better, the elderly Vietnamese waiter was very quiet, we asked if we could try one Pho before ordering a 2nd and he said that would take 30 min to do that so we ordered two and it came out in 10 min -- what? The free pudding was nice. I asked another couple how they'd rate it they gave it a 10/10, I wouldn't go back it was a bit disappointing.

This iconic little Vietnamese mom and pop cafe is still going strong in Fort Smith. Went and the Barbecue Bahn Mi and seafood phó. Everything was delicious as expected and the older man who serves tables, Eric, is still attentive and great. They now take cards via a mobile POS which I didn’t know until today.

Excellent Banh Mi ! Ordered one to go and was given an ice tea to go with it. This was my first time here and now I'm anxious about going back to try more!

Delightful, charming mom&pop restaurant run by a sweet older couple. I make a point to try something new in their long menu every time, and every single time, I find a new favorite dish. The restaurant feels like you are visiting a beloved family member's home, with fun, eccentric decor and friendly hosts. The complimentary dessert and tea are so cozy and welcoming, and I cannot stress how unique and beautiful and delicious every dish I have tried has been. I have a hard time trying any other restaurant because I know it will not compare. If they ever offered cooking lessons, I would be first in line. ♡

If you were to pass by this place, you wouldn't think much of it. Google suggested this place as a highly rated pho restaurant. When we went in, I immediately noticed the jungalo vibes on the inside and enjoyed the complimentary hot tea. The food is one of the best Vietnamese food I've had in a while. Is this food made by someone's mom? It's so delicious! I felt so welcomed and told some friends about this place. Definitely coming back!

Probably one of the most underrated restaurants in Fort Smith. Don’t let the location or outside of the building deter you, the food is well worth it! They are one of the few local places that serve a vegan broth and vegetable pho. The veggies are always fresh, the broth served as a delicious base, and the mung bean sprouts, parsley, and other toppings just make it perfect. The meal is served with tea and you even get a banana dessert afterward. We also order the veggie spring rolls (on the entrée menu) as an appetizer. The owners are very kind and we always have a positive experience.

First of all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant. Definitely go!! The food is excellent! Now for details. My girlfriend and I went there on Sunday July 6th...2025 during the early afternoon. It was our first time so we just followed navigation app directions. We were a bit surprised to see it seemed to be set up in what must have once been a gas station...or so it appeared to us. Hey...the atmosphere isn't the best, but we were there for the food. We were warmly greeted and seated. To be honest, the table had a tacky feel to it...did not feel clean, but that doesn't mean it wasn't. We think we may know why and I'll discuss that later. Anyway, we received the menu....and WOW...their menu is EXTENSIVE!!!!...crazy extensive! My family used to own a restaurant in East Texas and I know menus and I can confirm this is the most extensive menu I've EVER laid eyes on. So, we ended up ordering water, Special Steamed Rice Flour Crepes with Beef (#23), Combo Fried Rice with Chinese Sausage (#49) and a Seasoned Pork Meatball Bahn Mi Sandwich (#79). We quickly received our waters and some hot tea in a very hot serving kettle...and I do mean HOT. We think the heat from the kettle had melted the top of the table over time thus making it a bit tacky feeling. The tea was wonderful! The presentation of each dish was superb...making it even more appetizing. The Banh Mi was out of this world awesome!!! The Combo Fried Rice was very very good! And....the crepe dish was amazing as well. Photos attached. We both shared and tried each other's dishes and we both agreed...WE WILL BE BACK!!! THIS PLACE ROCKS!!! Towards the end of the meal, we were presented a very nice banana dessert dish...and guess what?....yep...so good! It was just the right amount of sweet. So, is the atmosphere the best? No, but depends on what you're looking for. The service was a bit slow, but honestly...it was okay. The food???? AMAZING

UPDATE: August 15th...2025.
My girlfriend and I have started coming hear atleast once a week now and we are always so pleased with everything served. We just tried #124...the Combination Lo Mein. Oh My God....so so good. We both agreed this was one of the best dishes we have ever tried. Uploading new photo.

Started with tea (nice touch) ordered the Fin and Feather which was fantastic and then dessert is brought out. I don't like tapioca (which is an ingredient in banana soup but the flavoring of the broth was yummy. Food presentation was beautifully done which was a pleasant surprise especially at the price point.

We got the pho with beef tenderloin (9. pho tai) and spicy beef (64. bun bo hue) and they were both so delicious! Both the soups were tasty and one of the best bun bo hue I've ever had. Also highly recommend the spring rolls with shrimp, it was fresh and light. The service is also wonderful.

Here's a review incorporating your observations:
A Mixed Bag: Amazing Flavors, Concerning Hygiene
This small, unassuming establishment, seemingly run by an elderly couple, truly impressed me with its amazing flavors. Every dish I tried was a testament to their culinary skill, and it's clear they put a lot of love into their food. For such a small operation, they're doing remarkably well on the taste front, easily standing out in that regard.
However, I left with some significant concerns about hygiene. The teapot, unfortunately, was rusted, which is not only unappealing but also raises questions about cleanliness. Even more troubling was finding mold in the ice. These are not minor issues and really detracted from an otherwise delightful culinary experience.
While the food alone makes me want to recommend this place, the hygienic shortcomings are hard to overlook. If these issues were addressed, this spot would easily be a five-star gem.
