This was, by far, the best meal I have had at Stonehouse. Adding a lobster tail to the fabulous shrimp dinner put it over the top! The asparagus is always fresh and perfectly seasoned and the horseradish potatoes were amazing. Thomas is the most friendly bartender/manager whose drinks are carefully crafted and unmatched elsewhere. Two thumbs up and five gold stars for the Stonehouse Restaurant.
We were greeted and seated in a very professional but friendly manner. Our waitperson was prompt and very pleasant and informative, eager to answer our questions. Drinks (excellent sweet tea), starters, and entrees were served in a timely way, no rush or clutter. The food was delicious and correct in temp and served as ordered. The creme brûlée was lovely. In short, we enjoyed a lovely dinner in a lovely restaurant. We are now regulars!!!
The food was delicious . The service was awesome. I made a reservation on opentable and mentioned that this was for an anniversary. They had two special notes for us that mentioned the occasion.
We have ate at Stonehouse many times. We have always received outstanding service from the waitstaff, bar staff, and kitchen. However the food seems to be hit or miss, we have had really good food and then we have had food we didnt even finish. I appreciate the attempt at keeping a fresh menu but at the expensive prices the food needs to be a hit every time. This really brings down the value of the whole experience. Recent example of the Hit or miss, was on our dinner last night. the "Shrimp Pappradelle" was extremely bland lacking almost any flavor and was kind of "soupy". Other times we have dined here we have had one of the better steaks in the area. Also beware Stonehouse charges a "Cake Fee" if you want to bring in your own birthday cake and they also have a "sharing fee" if you share any entree with someone in your party. This feels like a nickel and dime tactic. Unfortunately Stonehouse is one of the only nicer independent restaurants available in the Fort Smith area.
Got the tomahawk pork chop and it was about half inch thick and 51 bucks crazy over priced for about 8oz of meat. The mushrooms were gross with no seasoning . Was gonna order some shrimp dish but the table next to me sent there's back twice and said don't get it. I have been there about 10 times and it was not good 8 times. Sorry won't go back again.
Six friends met for Ladies Night at Stonehouse. We had a great evening. The special menu prepared for Ladies Night was fun. The food was good. Our drinks were perfectly prepared by Thomas who stopped by our table to make sure everyone was happy with their drinks. We were lucky to have Darlene as our server. She was - as always - outstanding! Our group can't wait to do this again!
We have eaten here at Stonehouse many times over the years since opening with ups and downs. This experience yielded wait staff that were kind, professional, courteous, and attentive however, ill knowledge on the menu and preparation of appetizers. They were responsible for we ordered the tuna tartar, which tasted good if you just want bland tuna. it lacked the sauce that enhances the flavor and makes it a much m nicer dish. The baseball sirloin steak was ordered, medium rare, but came out medium well and was very dry and tough. The Wagyu burger was nothing to jump up and down about. It was also considered a bit dry as well. The dessert we had sounded like it was gonna be great as were fans of baked Alaska ,however, it turned out to be a dove bar with meringue that was seared on top. the taste was OK but not at the price that we paid for a baked Alaska .It was nothing more than something you could pull out of a convenient store. Overall the experience was pleasant, but the food significantly lacked the rave that you would pay for the price that we did.
Perfect place for a date night or special occasion. Food was perfection and the staff was very knowledgeable and attentive.
Our 46th wedding anniversary and my wife and I had a perfect experience at Stone House. I'm ashamed I can't remember our server's name but she could not have made it better and the food was delicious; seriously, every bite. We were expecting a good meal and good atmosphere. They far exceeded those expectations.
Stonehouse is my goto for special day experiences. Yes, the drinks are always on point (best Old Fashioneds around). Yes, the food is always perfectly prepared and immaculately presented. But what really sets Stonehouse apart from other establishments is the attention to every little detail by every member of the restaurant staff. This is what sets the really great restaurants apart from the really good ones. Everyone there, from the hostess, to the server, to the bar manager, to the chef, to the GM...... they go out of their way to make guests feel included, comfortable, special, and informed. Thank you!

I love the decor of this very old prairie school house. The bar is interesting and the bartenders are knowledgeable and fun! Food was delicious and like the fact that they have special items besides the menu in both food and beverage. I had the seafood pasta and the sauce was light, not a heavy Alfredo sauce. My husband had a ribeye shish-ke-bob that was delightful. I have always loved their lavender martini complete with a smoldering rosemary stem. Also the shrimp cocktail app is very good as well. One of the best eateries in town.
Great experience, great food. Very friendly service. We had the manager come to our table to apologize for a slightly long wait (but not really) for an appetizer and was very polite and professional
We celebrated my husband's birthday with friends and family. The food was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and provided us with great service. I appreciate the candle that they provided for the cake that I brought.
Great food and service. Baked potatoes a bit on the cool side, not hot. Prices a bit high to compete in local area. Large sides that 2+ folks can easily share. Appetizers are a bit pricey. Substituted house rum for ordered rum without notifying until it was asked about; they did not have the request rum. Overall, Stonehouse and staff made Retirement Dinner for 8 people very enjoyable. They allowed flower delivery and outside retirement cake and made a nice sign for the table and gave a small complimentary appetizer. Overall, I would recommend the Stonehouse to others.
The price of the meal did not justify itself. The food was good but definitely not worth the price tag.
