Don’t eat here they start big drama with customers of color
More of a warning… Got a mouth full of crawfish eggs. Had 5 more that were full of eggs…. Never been “lucky” enough to get eggs before but anyone eating here in the near future may just check your crawfish so you’re not surprised (especially if you have texture issues) 😫 Server offered to have another 1/2 lb of crawfish cooked for free to go (after she told the manager we were not happy) but after that I definitely did not want more… either way she was nice and even after asking if we wanted to talk to the manager (and we said no) she (the server) still tried to do something to make us a little more satisfied… Thank you for that 💕
We loved it, first time experience and it was great food & service.

Simple question: why don't you have fresh shucked oysters?
Because they are all frozen or canned? Just curious
Actually, don't take time out of your day to reply, I will not dine at your establishment....read and pay attention to your other reviews

Always have great service and food! Last night Celeste went above and beyond to take care of us. She is a great server here in the River Valley. Very personable and kind. One of their other servers Vincent Jacob use to work here but now takes great care of us at another place with different cuisine. I hear tho he might be coming back, hope so.

The food was gross. We spent $60 and had to go get food somewhere else right after. My soup was made with canned cream of mushroom 110% and still for some reason the dish was 90% just plain white rice. The raw oysters had zero flavor at all. Just like unflavored gelatinous balls of slime. Which they knew because they gave me salt and pepper packets for them as some kind of standard lmao. Guess it’s my fault for getting raw oysters and crawfish soup and not getting crab legs but my god what we got was VILE.
And just a side note- they seated us near the kitchen and the entire time we were there we had to listen to the kitchen staff arguing with eachother. That is not a happy kitchen back there.

Over priced and sub standard food! They are obviously struggling. I never see anyone in there for lunch. Rubbery seafood that is boiled in a bag....

If you're from Louisiana, have lived in Louisiana, or know real Cajun food, DON'T eat here. You will be grossly disappointed.
Food was largely inedible.
Gumbo was a joke - the bowl was 3/4 filled with rice, and the gumbo base itself was terrible (obviously, no one here knows how to make a proper roux). The shrimp had been cooked separately (bland) and was thrown in at the last second, as was the kielbasa sausage (that's right: it wasn't any type of Cajun sausage).
I ordered the fried oysters. They were inedible.
Kids popcorn shrimp was tolerable.
Boiled shrimp meal came in a bag, and was lukewarm at best.
Staff was polite, attentive, and very professional.

The seafood can be overcooked at times, and we have been served hushpuppies that were still frozen in the middle, but the staff has always been friendly and accommodating with any issues brought up. Even with the occasional overcooked seafood, this is the BEST seafood in Fort Smith! My husband and I continuously tell people about the Mighty Crab to try and facilitate business for them. I want this place to be a permanent staple for Fort Smith just like Calico County, Cavanagh Pizza, or Miss Anna's. Love it!
Kid-friendliness: Kids love the decor, and the restaurant has booster seats and highchair for infants. I'm just saying that any restaurant that encourages the adults to eat with their hands has got to be kid friendly as well lol. My 3 yr old did not enjoy the French fries, but did love the fried catfish.
