Friendly staff and atmosphere, yet the food was underwhelming. The flavor of the food was okay. As the only customers at the time, what surprised us most was that the temperature of the food that we had to wait on was not warm. It was on the cold side of room temperature. My experience with Burrough Rd location had always been positive. I hope this location can get its groove soon.
This place used to be my go to BBQ place. Amazing meat and really good sides. I don’t know what has happened the last three times I have visited the service has been terrible! Getting orders wrong employees having an attitude. This last time I went through the drive through to pick up a pound of meat to take home and asked for a large ice tea I was told they were out so I asked for some water because I was really thirsty the person said “sure we can do that” when I got to the window they gave me my order and I asked about my water and got a snarky reply “we don’t do that” I got mad and drove away only to get home and see that they did not give me the sauce I ordered! This is the last time I will patronize this place!?
One of the best BBQ places in town!! Definitely will be back. The pork sandwichplatter is the best!!!!
meats and sides are always great and always love trying all six sauces plus the hot!
Meat was cold, sauces are bland at best,Cole slaw was yuck, beans were bland. Couldn't eat it so just got up and left. Wouldn't feed this stuff to homeless person. Afraid he/she would get sick.
Very friendly staff generous portions and good as always.
Extremely clean and very friendly! Food was excellent as always!
Food was great and the wait staff were super friendly and nice. Building was a bit warm for my tastes, but it is Arkansas and out summers suck!
I'm so proud to write this post for a 'well deserving' BBQ Grill Master. The Ribs & Pulled Pork plus sauce was absolutely delicious. My family cleaned it up otherwise I would have sent a pic. Being from Southern Illinois..Mike Mills would approve! MJ WAITE
I was quite excited and looking forward to my trip to Whole Hog Cafe earlier this week but I havé to say that I was less than satisfied. I ordered the Ultimate Feast for$29.99 plus tax. When I got home I was taken aback at the portion size óf each item. They did give me 2 forks though. The food was okay and the sauces were very good but not enough to bring me back,

Has pulled pork sandwich and Mac and cheese, was good, both could have been warmer.
Seriously the worst. DRY meat. Cold roll when it needs a slice of white bread. Beans are terrible. Sweet tea taste old and they were only open 20 minutes before we arrived. The place is FILTHY! I will never waste my money here again. “World champion” must have been the only one on the contest. Do yourself a favor and just drive the extra miles for Reid’s in Booneville.
It was our 1st time 2 eat there.. The Food was Great. We will go back.
Went here for a girls night and we each had the brisket plate I had mine with mac, my friend had Mac and beans. food was subpar at the best especially for the price We paid.My Mac was over cooked and cold, brisket taste was decent but just not enough and was far to cold for my liking. My friends Mac and brisket were cold also and she said her beans were cold but they tasted okay.Overall not a pleasant experience, Im really disappointed after seeing most of the good reviews I was really excited but now I probably won’t be back.
Really good brisket! Love the variety of sauces on each table. Everything was clean. Potato salad was the best I have eaten outside of my own kitchen and the portion was good sized. Only criticism I have is that the buns were not warm.
