Can I leave zero stars ? Absolute garbage. Ordered fajitas. Barely any meat, mostly peppers. Pico was mostly onions. GAC was brown. Queso was practically rubber. How is this place even open?
My daughter and I went out to eat at Mavericks. The service was great! The owner is very friendly. I ordered the Maverick special which had fajita meat , mushrooms on a bed of rice with queso on top,it was very delicious. My daughter had street tacos which was very good also. We will definitely go back to eat again. The best thing I loved about the place was 1 it's a small business 2 it is veteran owned.

I ordered 2 Steven specials and a cheese dip from door dash. Surprisingly small portions. Not worth $10 a piece in my opinion
The beans and rice were really good. Tacos were good too except they had taco seasoning in them that I am allergic to. Let people season their own. Their chips and salsa were fresh made and delicious delicious!! I definitly go there again.
I'm hoping they have a thriving business! Good luck and God Bless you.
Parking: Needs rails or posts for handicappef people.

Advertised as a buffet. When we got there were informed there was no buffet. Floor was dirty. We didn't stay.
Local and newer place but not impressive. Everything we ordered was prepackaged. The chips and salsa, guac, chicken fried steak, fries; all of it tasted like it came right from a store shelf. There wasn't anything drawing me back. Our waitress was friendly but inattentive. I had to ask for refills, ask for dessert and ask for the check.I'm going to give them another try and hope for better as they are a new restaurant and locally owned. I wish them the best but there needs to be some reason to make me want to spend my money here.

Where do I begin? This place is my family's new favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is good but the service is what makes this place exceptional. The staff is SO friendly.

My friend and I fought the 5 o’clock traffic to have Maverick’s tonight in Greenwood. The food was what you would expect from a good solid Hispanic restaurant. There were also options for “American Dinners” that included catfish and chicken fried steak. They employ students from the local high school and Harvey made our meal even better. I tried Maverick’s when they first opened an it was a buffet. They offer the buffet for lunch hours and we will be back again to try it again. Great restaurant for this small town.
