Support local! The pizza was delicious and is far better than the chain restaurants. Great service and a fun, hometown atmosphere. For dessert, we grabbed a pint of blackberry ice cream from the adjoining shop - so yummy!

Food was decent. However the brisket was dry and on the cold side. The potato salad I got on the side was pretty good though. The brisket had a good bark and good flavor. Fat cap was amazing as well and full of flavor. Maybe an off day based on other reviews I have seen. The customer service was awesome, we had our food in minutes and the whole time we were waiting we could smell the barbecue. I would definitely go back but would probably get something different.

We were so excited to stop at The Boar House & Pizza after a long day of driving. We were really craving some BBQ, and let me tell you, they totally nailed it! The waitresses were super friendly and really on the ball. The sliced brisket was so tender and juicy, and that homemade sauce was just divine. And those ribs? Oh my goodness, they were meaty and just melted in your mouth. The mustard-based potato salad had just the right amount of tanginess, and the fried okra was freshly battered and a delightful change from the usual sides. We loved the food so much that we made sure to come back when we were in the Quitman area and, you guessed it, the service and food were just as fantastic as before.

Before you head out, you've got to check out their selection of fresh desserts. Those cakes must be homemade because they are always the first to disappear, especially the coconut.

The brisket was divine! The homemade sauce... delicious! We ended up getting the last ribs of the day and they were a bit overdone. That's understandable though as the last rack of the day. I enjoyed the seasoned fries as my side but felt my coleslaw was bland. The chicken tenders are huge! They also sell homemade desserts, and have a little shop attached. Great little place. Nothing frilly, just good food.

This our third time, we keep coming back for many good reasons: GREAT FOOD, great variety of menu options, great sandwiches, great desserts. Their staff is very helpful and welcoming.
