For a restaurant that has a great location, size, nice table area, you would expect quality. Unfortunately since going here three years ago, the food has major declines.
We went out for dinner on my birthday this month. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with Mac and cheese, my husband had a catfish piece, onion rings, and we shared some loaded fries.
The loaded fries came out hot but the cheese sauce was so watered down that it made the fries soggy and the cheese sauce was lacking flavor. My sandwich was described to have pickled onions but lacked them. The bread was too thin for how much grease and juice was in the pork, making it fall apart. The side of Mac I got was literally just plain elbow noodles with watered down cheese sauce. It was like a school cafeteria lunch for toddlers. My husband’s fish was great! But the onion rings were super thin and the breading tasted only of beer and lacked seasoning.
Felt super bad for our waiter. Not his fault that the food is bad. But I’m sure it affects his ability to make tips.
As locals, we won’t be back anymore. Sad because it used to be good in the past. With a lot of restaurants closing down here, we will likely have to take our date night's to independence county. If I could give any suggestions, it would be: Remove sides or items on the menu that don’t taste good, it’s a waste of money otherwise. Smaller menu doesn't mean less money. People love the fish and steak.

Even though they were out of ribeye, the coconut shrimp were good, the green beans are probably the best non-southern style green beans I have ever had. The trivia was a fun little perk!! Our waitress was new and nervous so she still got a good tip even though she brought the side salad at the end of the meal... Close enough to home to be convenient and far enough away from home to feel like you are actually going somewhere. The hubs loved the burger and the manchild devoured the Alfredo pasta with shrimp added.

We were just passing through and thought we would stop last night! What a great experience, our waitress Suzie I think Was her name was very prompt and made the experience great very accommodating we ordered a salmon nut salad to be split and a bacon cheeseburger with fries to be split and they made sure we had it all done correctly!! Most restaurants will have you do it yourselves and they did not!! My husband order a sweet and spicy burger which she had suggested and he was so happy she did. The food was great!! Cheese sticks and carrot cake were very good. Thank you for a great experience and a great atmosphere and waitress!!! We will be back again next time we are passing through!

I was greeted by the owner Kristi and my server was very nice and efficient. Great food. It was my first time there for breakfast. Breakfast is served on Fridays and Saturdays only.
I have ate multiple times with a very large group and the service has always been top notch and the food has been quality. I highly recommend the Artisan Grill. The prices are reasonable as well.

Awesome menu choices. The fried mushrooms are hand battered and delicious. The Flourentine Fettuccine with chicken was so good! You won't be disappointed.
