The place takes you back to a time of more simplicity! The food is like it was prepared with love in your Grandma’s kitchen just for you. If you are in Hardy, Arkansas—this is the place to stop!
Overall good food at great prices. I personally did not care for was what I feel as southern staples was NOT homemade (Grits or Gravy). Other than those minor things this is a wonderful place to eat and listen to locals meet and chat like a town hall gathering. Decor is fun and relaxing.
Loved this food! Amazing service and atmosphere. The decorations are so cute and the bathrooms are clean! Pretty cheap for the portions and how delicious the food is!
Stopped by Corner Booth and decided to go classic with their Reuben—and I’m glad I did. The sandwich came out hot and stacked with tender corned beef, perfectly melted Swiss, tangy sauerkraut, and just the right amount of Thousand Island dressing, all grilled between slices of rye that had a satisfying crunch. It was hearty without being overwhelming, and every bite had that perfect balance of savory and tangy.
The vibe of the place was cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly without being overbearing.
We walked in and never got any service ! The waitress walked by and looked at us 6 times and kept going. So we got up and walked out after 20min of waiting to get service! Go here if you don’t want any service and to be ignored!
Stopped in to eat breakfast this morning. What a great little spot. The locals wandered in & out & seemed to be regulars. The young man who was our server was very friendly. The food was delicious & very reasonably priced.
Great food! A little pricey, but overall a good experience! Waitress was very nice.
Delicious!
The waiter was awesome and friendly. The food tasted amazing. I love supporting local places. Will definitely be back.

Greasy spoon with a bustling, family vibe. Pretty good standard breakfast fare. The Western Omelette is the best bet. Looks like lots of people were getting the chicken fried steak as an open faced sandwich. The brown gravy that comes with that might be better than the white gravy for biscuits, which was sad and flavorless. The chocolate chip pancake was pretty good. Top highlight: the bucket of sauces and jellies on the table, which seems to have everything you could ever imagine wanting to put on top of something. Top downside: dirty place, especially the bathrooms and kitchen.

The food is mediocre at best and today when I tried to place a to go order the person on the phone said they were to busy to take a to go order. I guess it being a holiday weekend they are to busy for local people. What a crappy way to treat there local customers.

If you drive by this gem in downtown Hardy, turn toward it and park in the massive parking lot at the back.
The main entrance is on the west side of the building but with the recent addition ( a year or so ago ) there is also a entrance from the main road.
The west side entrance brings you into a small cafe style feeling. There are approximately 9 seating areas that hold 4 diners each.
If you walk straight forward through into the addition, you come to a bar / pub feeling area. Which it is not the sort ( the entrance from the street bring you into this area ).
My wife and I decided to sit in this section. There is a vaulted ceiling with booths and counter seats facing the road. The booths are spacious with hard wood seating and hard plastic tops. A fan was on and blowing right at us. We asked to turn it off which it was promptly.
The coffee cups were already at the table, upside down. Creamer and French Vanilla creamer cups are mixed together in a bin. Other needed condiment packets are mixed together on the other side of the same bin. The ketchup and honey were in their own respective bottles.
My wife and I went in around 9:30 am and I was surprised that even in the morning, you had breakfast ( served all day ) and lunch options to choose from.
We ordered a Reuben, a bacon cheeseburger and I also ordered a side of fries. All items are a la cart ? We enjoyed the meal and the to go breakfast we ordered for a later lunch. Delicious!
The server was nice and made sure our cups were full. We both had coffee ( we wiped the rims off ) and I also had unsweetened tea.
Two sandwiches, order of fries, 2 coffees, a tea and 2 breakfast items came to a bit under $40 ( not including tip ).
There was a lost older sweet blue eyed dog right outside the west facing door as we left. It looked like a tan colored lab / boxer mix. Someone had written a note and put it in it's collar in hopes of finding it's owner.
This restaurant is a must try if you are new to the area, visiting or if you're a local that hasn't tried it yet.

I love the look and feel of a great diner! Such a cute little place right downtown. We had a burger and fries and an egg omelet. Burger was a little dry but fried and omelet were delicious! I'd still go there again just because of the atmosphere and great staff!
