The food was outstanding. I ate there with my mom today. Initially they had given my order to another patron but were quick to correct their mistake (I think I had my hangry face on) and the ribs I ordered were among the best I ever had. The young lady that waited on us was very kind and apologetic. She insisted that my meal be free. The food was worth the wait and I will definitely eat there again the next time I come through.

Take out from Rick’s BBQ was delicious. And so much food. Downtown Hardy - you are lucky to have such great food. We got a family pack of pulled pork.
Parking: There are spots on both sides of the street.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very nice ramp entrance.

We ordered the BBQ Nachos, fried pickles, and onion rings. The nachos were decent, but not much meat at all! Once you got past the very top layer, it was just chips. Not at all layered. The fried pickles and onion rings were the worst I've ever had. Super greasy, and rock hard. The pickles were so destroyed in the fryer that they had NO pickle flavor left in them. The only reason the rating is a 2 is that the server was awesome and attentive. When we sat down to order they informed us that they were out of slaw and beans. Who runs out of those main sides at a BBQ place?? It was at lunchtime!! Never again.

Some of the worst food I've ever had when eating out. There were 6 of us and no one Liked their food. Fried pickles were swimming in grease and really hard. Several had cold fries. Burgers were half the size of the bun. Smoked sausage was burned. I never leave reviews but I had to on this one. Paid 40.00. For 2 people to eat awful food. Not happy.

We were there for an early dinner on Saturday, June 22. A friend got the Barbeque Nachos that were delicious . My husband and I ordered a Barbeque Salad. It was the worst salad I’ve ever gotten . It was basically a very small dinner salad with maybe 4 ozs of meat for 10$. It was in a small cereal bowl . Just beware and don’t order the salad .
Not only is this place nasty, it's the worst bbq I've ever had. Thies people have no clue about food.

So the waitress was kind! We absolutely loved her but thr woman at the register had no idea what she was doing. She got me and my entire groups cards all mixed up had no idea who paid what then thr owner had the nerve to start talking crap about us. We were very patient waiting for our food as we knew they were busy but to sit there and mess up and blame us for their screw up is ridiculous. Calling your customers liars when they are literally just trying to pay our bill.

Can't give a review for food we never received. 45 minutes waiting for nachos and frys. Come on. You have got to do better. Workers was to busy talking to all the locals and getting the locals food before us. We ended up leaving. I think it's great to b friendly but the family of 5 from out of town would have liked to eat as well as your locals. We love supporting small businesses but unfortunately we didn't get to this time.
