I have been here many times and it is always excellent! From the Ribeye to the fried bologna sandwich to the desserts it is the best. Well worth the drive, and whatever wait you might endure. Get there early and beat the rush. Also, the atmosphere is awesome! 5 starts every visit.
Such a disappointment. We’ve had great food here before. We’ve given high marks too. But today the service hit the wall. Our server was tied up with a large party. We got water. But she passed by so many times over a time of over 15 minutes. I kinda felt sorry for her, but the place wasn’t busy. We finally walked out the door and … I have no idea if we’ll be back. Ugg… really liked this place. There’s not much else in this town. See you at McDonald’s. Or Sonic?
Appetizers where delicious. Meal was hot, though grilled veggies where rubbery. Dessert pies where very sweet and mostly whipped cream. Service was good but the chatter/horseplay of the waitresses in the kitchen was distracting and made dinner conversation difficult at times. Staff is friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed. The building is unique and interesting. Plan to visit again to try other items on their menu, and see if maybe my veggies where just having an off night.
